That is the rumor, see the Mock Draft 6.0 thread.

Probasketballdraft ?@Probballdraft 58m
The Charlotte Bobcats have been shopping Michael Kidd-Gilchrist. Potential that he is moved on draft night. #NBADraft

The logic is that they think Victor Oladipo will fall.

Might as well throw Kemba in there

I would hunt Dell Demps down if he does that. MKG sucks! I remember the pre draft threads from last season, I was getting in heated arguments on here telling people Barnes was better than him.

MKG: 9/6/1 on 45% shooting in 26 minutes
14.04 PER
Barnes: 9/4/1 on 43% shooting in 25 minutes
11.08 PER

Seems pretty close to me...

Yeah, MKG was better than Barnes last year.

If he was like 3 inches taller and could play the 2 guard I'd be all over it

I would think about Greivis Vasquez & Robin Lopez #6 for MKG #4.

Then draft McLemore

Ask anyone who actually watched both players last season and all will take Barnes over that scrub. Hell you can look at highlights and see which player is better.

Barnes has skills that translate to the NBA level. Along with these skills, he's more explosive than MKG.
