Proof??

Thread count.

Post count and users.

You can go to page 7 on HT and find a post from yesterday. On the old Report you can go back three pages and find a post from three days ago.

There is more interest here. Admins won't ban you for little things. All in all a much better site.

Not too long ago this place was on life support. with weeks of threads on page one. Now its one of the fastest moving boards on TD.

hornets talk likes to consolidate all threads that have a common word like basketball or guard or center.

yeah, but its amazing how big this forum has gotten. Remember its an LSU board first and foremost. But also happens to have the best New Orleans sports boards, and many other great boards.

Place is going to be fun this season.

Whole I think thread count is a poor metric since all threads aren't created equal and they merge threads actively, Hornets Talk could easily pass them for the reasons stated.

Quality counts... keep the quality up.

What's the full story over there?

I remember Harvey saying he was leaving because he was "fed up" with following a "joke of a franchise" and so he gave the board to 247.

Next thing I hear is that Harvey started a new board. That dude always seemed like a douche.

100% quality usually means no fun involved. The unspectacular quality allows for good times too. We got the best of both worlds.

I can only imagine the hissy fit he threw when his boy Weber was canned.

I'm surprised there wasn't a long editorial on his new board.

I haven't checked it out too much. Doesn't seem to be much going on. Seems all sports are on one forum. I don't know. Seems to be HH and a few of his pals from HR.

I also haven't spent much time looking at HR lately. Too wrapped up in the wonderfulness that is Hornets Talk.

Harvey's inside info seemed to be greatly reduced once Demps came into town. There were many legit reasons for him to be tired of the team but Demps locking down leaks like Steve Jobs probably played a part. It also was a good time for him to get out. Judging by his new sites name he was obviously betting on a rebrand which will happen. It was probably a good time for Harvey to cash out and a good time for Joe to pick up more users as he tries to make blogging his full time gig.
