This seems like a horrible trade for NOLA.

All things considered, it's a good trade. Gordon is an up and coming player that can shoot. Aminu has potetntial. And Kaman is a seven footer that has athletic ability and had a great year season before last. The draft pick has great potential.

Already sold a boatload of tickets and if we do fail this year, there will be a great buzz about the Hornets having 2 picks from 1-15.

If you're going to troll, you should have at least an inkling of the facts you're dealing with. You're embarrassing yourself.

I'm not trolling, but let's be real. We're owned by the league and we don't have a single marketable player.

I wish people that dont know crap about the NBA would quit randomly spouting off negative garbage. He wont reach Pauls level but Eric Gordon is kind of a big deal.

Everybody knows the blockbuster in this trade not named Chris Paul is playing in the NCAA right now.....now we all have to hope that that blockbuster truly is a blockbuster.

You all are talking like 80% of the people that drive through New Orleans and see that big hanging picture of Gordon on the arena would even know who he is..... ....He is a nice player but he isn't the one meant to entice the buyers.

Gordon could be a top 10-12 SG in the league very soon but yeah... who ever "unprotected 1st round pick" from Minn turns out to be should be the face. I like this deal 100x's better than the LA/Hou deal. We got young. I'd rather take my chances in becoming the Thunder than staying the same ol' 5-8 seed Hornets.

This is true........It will be interesting to see....somebody in NOLA better step up soon cause if this team does turn into an OKC type success story somebody is going to buy them and they'll be gone before you know it.

I THINK Stern wants a buyer that will keep em here. They had a buyer who wanted to take them to San Jose and they said no. I believe Stern is committed to hoops in NOLA but who knows...

IMO this trade makes Stern look like a frickin genious relative to the criticsm he got for nixing the original deal. And lets be honest here. Paul is overrated and injury prone. Considering that, the NBA/Hornets made out like bandits in this trade.

It really does seem to me that Stern is trying to be the Pete Rozelle or Paul Tagliabue of the the NBA here. I think that Stern is determined to make the NBA work in N.O.

He already is. Only 23, was 6th in SG PER last season, plays solid defense. A bit small for the position, but still, easily top 10. Wade, Kobe, and Ginobli are the only ones that I would say are clearly better, and Kobe/Ginobli are on the downside of their careers.
