So you don't know the difference between Robin & Brook Lopez.

You have seen Phx play "a couple of times"

Great? No

Better than whats currently on the roster, or available in FA? Yes

Hes a big body, who can rebound and play defense... and hes only 26, so theres room for improvement. Id for sure take him over a bag of peanuts and a temporarily Jason Smith.

Looks like we are also getting "cash considerations". Anyone who doesn't see this as a good deal is retarded.

A person familiar with negotiations says the New Orleans Hornets, Phoenix Suns and Minnesota Timberwolves have agreed to a multiplayer deal sending 7-foot center Robin Lopez and forward Hakim Warrick from Phoenix to New Orleans, while moving forward Wesley Johnson and a first-round draft pick from Minnesota to Phoenix.

The person told The Associated Press about the trade on condition of anonymity Wednesday because it has not been announced pending the completion of some routine logistical matters.
The deal also sends guard Jerome Dyson and retiring center Brad Miller's $5.1 million contract from New Orleans to Minnesota, allowing the Timberwolves to clear space under the NBA's salary cap as they pursue free agents. Minnesota also will receive two second-round draft picks from New Orleans, while the Hornets will receive cash.

Why should you trust Demps judgement more than your own? Because he's earned it.

Marco may not be great, but he was basically a 3rd stringer that managed to start for most of 2 years.

Smith and Vasquez are 2 more players that went from 3rd stringer to fringe starter.

Ayon made fans go from WTF? to Demps Did It Again!

Give the deal some time, it just might surprise you.

$5m for a center with a pulse is just about as cheap as you can go. We aren't getting anyone worth a shite for $1 or 2m a year. shite, Gustavo Ayon cost us $2.5m a year.

I believe in Demps, if he truely believe this is a good deal then damn sure it's a great deal. I really like what he did with Ayon and Anderson. I m really glad that we have a great GM in demps, and i won't question any moves he make

So we're basically just sending Minnesota what they sent us to facilitate a deal a few weeks ago.

And I really did think that Miller couldn't be traded back to the original team so soon.

He's not infallible, but so far he's been very successful at cherry picking other teams rosters for unappreciated players that flourish with enough opportunity and coaching from Monty.
