I havent watched in a while.

So if pels are fully healthy with a good trio imo, zion/murphy/cj

Why do they still suck like top 5 pick suck

They need better coaching.

I think a healthy Murray, CJ, Murphy, Zion and then Jones off the bench can win 45 games.

Zion plays 24 minutes and puts up historic numbers in that time. I would assume if he’s healthy next year he’ll play an extra 6-10 minutes which will lead to wins. And a new coach should lead to extra wins as well

We're terrible defensively. No herb and no Murray is absolutely awful from a defensive standpoint.

It's defense to me. We can't stop anyone and it's not because we don't have people capable of being good defenders, it's because nobody has the desire to play it. Zion has flashes but he's just trying to stay on the floor. CJ is atrocious, his bad defense almost overshadows his good offensive outputs to the point he is a net negative. Missing Herb is a big deal defensively and morale wise.
Team is just going through the motions, they have nothing to play for because they know the franchise is getting reset come the offseason. The way the org handled the center and BI situations last offseason up until the BI trade just let the entire team know they weren't serious about this season from the get go. And the team has played like it

Bad coaching, no good big men, everyone’s given up

And the bench is dog shite outside of Alvarado. Hawkins is terrible

Even full healthy this team was a borderline play in team

It’s not just coaching. Injuries have been devastating. And we need one more next level superstar to compete with the elite teams.

Honest answer?
Murray/ Herb are 10x more important as to winning pieces and sustainability than CJ or Zion/ Murphy going off with no game plan.

We also still having a massive hole at the center spot. Which our best option now is to roll with Missi/ Karlo and pick up another vet or draft a player.

If we want to win anything we need to move on from CJ/ Hawk asap and if we still suck then Zion is next.

We essentially need to build a roster that is good enough to have Missi/ Herb coming off the bench or a need to rely on them less.

Right now everyone is sucking CJs dick when he is the 6th most effective player on our team behind Murray/ Herb/ Trey/ Zion/ Missi. In the grand scheme of things of course. Anyone that argues otherwise is just looking at "what he can do" and not how it translates to building a winning roster going forward.

You want a winning roster? It starts with getting CJ/ Hawk off this team. Whether we get worse before we get better is a different conversation.

Waiting for the "but CJ scores 20pts off 30 shots crowd" like it means something. There's alot of players that can score 20-30 off 19 shots a game... Don't be so dense peoples

CJ taking 1 less shot a game than Wemby/ SGA/ Tatum/ Booker/ Doncic/ Jokic/ Mitchell is a big part of the problem. It was already a problem the last 2 years when we kept saying he needs to play like the 3rd best player instead of trying to be our star. I don't want a losing player as our "star" and I definitely don't want 2 with 1 being our actual star and the other being our 5th best player acting like our #1 player.

We will start winning when loser fans stop praising losing players and we get rid of our loser FO.

Until then just pray we get a top pick and CJ doesn't frick it up on the way out.

If Zion truly wants to be considered a star, he needs to average close to 40 minutes.

not really based off past results, the roster make up, and western conference competition.

Unfortunately bad roster construction will yield bad results regardless of the top end talent. See the Suns as an example.

They're not build to win in the West especially with this front court and the poor depth at key positions that rears it's ugly head when injuries arise.

They bet everything on health coming into the season and the Gods laughed at them.
