MKG's ceiling is Iguodala.

His floor is Ariza.

I think somewhere around Artest is where he likely ends up. His shot is poor, but he can get to the rim, rebound, and play defense.

Barnes can score, but that's all he brings to the table. And he hasn't been very efficient in college. Unlikely that changes in the NBA. Barnes fits the Hornets better, but I like MKG more.

but do you really want to spend a top-five pick on a jump shooter who couldn't get to the rim in college?

if you know he's going to be a boss arse jumpshooter in the NBA, then it's not that horrible

it's not like the NBA draft is the beacon of safe investments

Barnes has a better chance of being the next Adam Morrison than the next Ray Allen.

Neither outcome is likely. But Barnes isn't any where near as good a shooter as Allen.

I remember at the beginning of this season everyone ballyhooed this draft class as something special, and now nearly every player sans Anthony Davis seems to have remarkable question marks.

It's a decent class, but not a great year to have 2 no. 1 picks. More than likely we'll end up with a solid starter and a role player type from it.

i think it will produce some good NBA players. Maybe not superstars, but i see a lot of guys that will play for a while.

I agree.

I just remember preseason everyone was hyping this as the BEST CLASS SINCE '03! or whatever. And I just didn't see it.

Lots of good guys that can do different things, but there's probably only one superstar in the class. But who knows, no one thought K. Love would be a superstar either.

I think he has size good athleticism and a reliable jumper. In today's NbA that's a starter
