Trade the future 1s. I don’t care.

Give me
Elf
Beal
Jrue
Niko
AD

with Frank off the bench and continuing to develop. Niko is such an ideal fit next to AD. Love it.

Send out the 1s

I agree in principle, but if Washington is looking at a package from Brooklyn and NO and they want Frank as the pot sweetener to push it over the line, you have to do it.

I say that as someone that thinks Frank is going to be a pretty solid player in this league.

Dude is going to be a damn good player.

I agree.
I try my hardest to hold onto Frank.

Probably just have to play a little hard ball with the wiz

I hope we keep Niko going forward with or without AD. From everything I heard him and his family really like the organization and the City. Also I think he's very good if hes a teams 4th best player.

Gentry played the Niko Randle Davis Jrue and Elfrid lineup late!

Confirmed he reads my posts on Pelicans talk.

I like Frank as a guy with upside who can become a good rotation guy and Niko as well but anyone not named Jrue or AD is on the block if a guy like Beal or Kimba become available. This is a star's league.

He just seems like he is making progress at a good rate. Actually quicker than Buddy. I can't wait for the day he gets more minutes so we play Frazier and Miller less.

If he continues at this rate, and we go 7-3 in the next 10, wonder what will happen.

I worry about trading Randle b/c we our paint scoring is so much better than the past few years.

The choice between Randle and Niko is not close in my eyes. The spacing and defense just makes a whole lot more sense with Niko

I’m with you.

Frank is a young player who if he keeps this up is too good on that contract to trade away.

Gayle wants to dip into the tax? Cool. But we neeed cheap young players for depth.

The only offset about Niko is how much he will demand in FA.

Otherwise he's clearly the better piece next to AD.

We need to keep a cost controlled player like Jackson. You would rather give up etwaun Moore.

Moore pretty much has to be included in any significant trade since Hill's value is so negative. Randle or Niko + Moore is the bulk of the salary in trade proposals with Wes Johnson next to be added.

What if the choice is Niko or Frank though? Say Brooklyn is willing to do Russel/Carrol and 2 picks and Washington says Randle/Moore/Johnson/2 picks isn't enough, either swap out Randle and Niko or keep Randle in and add Frank. You have to keep Niko IMO. Obviously I'd try and throw 2nds and Diallo at them if I could but it may come down to keeping Niko or Frank rather than Niko and Frank like the OP is hoping.

Screw Beal..develop our own guys and go from there. Maybe we can swap solo for Osman aka more athletic/ offensively talented Asik

If the Pels go 7-3 in their next 10, with the schedule they have, they’d be ecstatic.

Let’s go by prep rankings

Frank was rated as the 13th overall best player in his class by the composite rankings. The 12 guys ranked ahead of him were all first-round picks

Franks was rated as the No. 5 overall player by 247 rankings.

Makes you think a little bit.

Very high

Those guys have talent; just didn’t put it together.

I believe they were picked 2nd and 10th overall, correct? So first round picks. And like I said, all the guys rated ahead of Frank was a 1st round pick.

Every guy who ever made the NBA has talent. Those who make it do so because of IQ and humility IMO. Great players can tell you what they can't do. Guys who fail do so because they think they can do it all (Rivers)

The thing I like most about Frank is that it is obvious how much he cares. I don't think his ceiling is as high as most, but I have always said I would be happy with prime Bobby Jackson and I think thats possible
