Huh? If he signs our max deal, we're still more than $10m under the cap. More like $13/14m IIRC.
You are forgetting the cap holds and the values of the exceptions we haven't renounced. if we renounce him and everything else, we can get to like $20m after the roster charge, which you can't wriggle out of.

That quote looks like a prepared statement, which is much worse than him spouting off on twitter. Those are usually vanilla as frick.

it's not like he's going to sign an offer sheet and not talk up that city. it may just be PR
No, SFP. You're just an idiot. You should've seen it all along that he hates New Orleans and desperately wants out.

Well you can find a Phoenix board to be excited on. We want Gordon to NOT be in Phoenix because he is talented enough to make us a threat in the West if our rookies pan out.
Fair enough but I am just trying to offer my opinion from the other side of things. Like I said, I doubt y'all lose him unless it's in a s&t. I am sorry for my comments, I should have been more sensitive. I actually like the Hornets and my girl is a huge fan plus I will probably be living in Louisiana for a long long time, so I wouldn't mind seeing y'all get real good.

Astronomically more.

It's cool, you're a good poster. I'm just very upset that Gordon wouldn't think before saying something like that and I'm also upset with the chicken little "I told you so"s coming out of the woodwork to throw in their 2 cents.

we need to go after rudy gay or nicholas batum and courtney lee... maybe even nick young

Assuming he is sincere about Phoenix, Demps is probably smart enough to look pretty hard at whatever trades are out there. Bower and Shinn rode out the CP3 shite until the bitter end.

Fair points for sure. My point was just that players don't seem to really want to play in NOLA.

Batum is forcing his way out of Portland and trying to go to Minny.
Sign and trades all around?

well i think he does want out, but i don't know HOW MUCH he wants out. we can always match and then decide what to do with him over the next 4 years

As of a few days ago Rudy Gay isn't on the market.
And this isn't NBA2K12... What do you plan on sending the Grizzles?
