As we enjoy the wealth of assets we just received via AD trade, never forget that if AD would have stayed another year, not asked for a trade, and left during free agency in 2020, we would have never got any of this. It all worked out

Maybe he can find a plastic surgeon in Los angels and do something about his face.

I’ve thought all along that AD’s trade request wasn’t as selfish as it seemed. Sure, it would be better if he stayed, but if he’s going to leave - at least he let the Pels get something for him. By asking for a trade a year and a half before he hits free agency, he gave the Pels plenty of time to maximize their return.

I’m not mad at him. He could have waited a year to do this and really fricked us.

Honestly I think It’s the right thing to do if you know you’re not resigning.

Let your team get something for you.

Now dictating where you get traded and doing it a year and a half out? frick that.

I just dont like how he did this shite in the middle of the season. They could have done this last offseason. But hey everything happens for a reason right? Having that #1 changed everything.

I would share your sentiment if that was any part of his logic. Unfortunately, I hate his bitch arse as we all know it was just orchestrated by LeBron from day one and his agent. AD is too much of a bitch and lacks the leadership qualities to decide for himself.

So AD's benevolent now?

He and his agent cut off the entire trade market and forced him to LA thus limiting what we could get. Lucky the Lakers are desperate.

AD requested a trade now because Lebron doesn't have time to wait for him to be a FA, not bc he wanted to ensure we got assets.

the timing of it...giving up on the team like a bitch, making them tank...leads to Zion, Lakers pressure to get Davis this year because of an aging lebron leads to the best possible scenario in New Orleans. Its quite the sequence of events.

If he didn’t sign the Supermax this summer, he was getting traded even if he didn’t formally request a trade. It was a total d’ck move doing what he did right before the deadline. And honestly this was planned in the summer after we just had our playoff run when he hired rich Paul. He’s now in top 3 most hated hornets/pels along with Gordon and Baron Davis....
