This team has been locked in on the road, maybe it wouldn’t be the worst place to start. Have to beat a great team at some point in the playoffs anyway.

I'd rather "at some point" be as deep into the playoffs as possible. Minnesota on the road please.

While Jokic is an unbelievable superstar, I don’t see the league manipulating shite for them like other teams. I think the Pels could get a better straight up matchup with the Nuggets.

While I think we would have a much better chance of beating the Wolves and a slightly better chance of beating the Thunder, I think if we play our best, we can beat the Nuggets. They're not unbeatable by any stretch of the imagination and they're in this dogfight with the Wolves and Thunder for a reason, they haven't been any better than either of those teams.

I actually think the Pelicans looked better in their games against the Nuggets than their games against the Thunder.

And, honestly y'all, I'd rather be locked into a 3-6 against the Nuggets than go 5 on 8 against Lakers and Warriors in the play in.

Getting in and adjusting to the altitude most of the week is preferable to a later round with fewer off days in between. Assuming we get them in a hypothetical 6 vs 3 match up, we won't play game 1 in Denver after Saturday at the earliest.

Denver is a tough outwhether there, here or in Anchorage… I think we’d have a chance, but the Pels would have to play their very best game with
a savvy game plan.

Im so tired of the rigged narrative. They won the NBA championship last year.

That would be a tough out for us given that we have no answer at all for defending Jokic. That is my biggest concern. The wolves have size but we can put someone on Ant. We have no own who can defend Jokic.

If we play them, I'd go Zion at the 5, let Jokic score his 40 and try to outscore them. JV and Nance aren't stopping him anyway.

Right. You basically have to punt on defending him and just have to out score them. I don’t know if Willie will do that though. Not in his DNA.

I don’t think it is completely rigged. I just think they manipulate it to give hard advantages to teams at times.
