Giving a huge contract to BI doesn’t sound so bad anymore

Downvote away. Do you want your best player to be someone unreliable that can’t even be bothered to show up in shape and on time? BI averages over 20 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists and actually enjoys basketball and seems like he wants to be a part of the city and organization. I’ll take a very good player with a good attitude over whatever the frick Zion is.

No team is going to give him the max ( what he wants). He is an average player

Why do you people need to pick one or the other. Both should go. Time to move on and restart all together.

Plus we have a bigger sample size of what a BI lead team is like. It’s not good

We aren’t trading Zion so this isn’t a real conversation to have

Again, this is why I objected to trading BI. I understood the allure of Zion, but I never thought we could rely on Zion.

You've now poisoned the relationship with a reliable guy who the team loved, and hitched your wagon to a guy I'm not sure anyone else on the team actually likes. We made our own bed.

This is a stupid take.

No thanks. We don't want to be another Chicago Bulls by holding on to players that won't move the needle. Time for all of them to go.

The only sample you have is BI playing with an unbalanced roster purpose-built to hide all of Zion's flaws. You're gonna find out soon enough how much BI has meant to this team, and you'll act like you loved him all along. When you trade BI, you're going to make Herb start looking for greener pastures after watching the team trade 2 of his best friends unceremoniously.

And blow absolute donkey dick for the next 3 years. Trading BI and Zion likely means trading Herb, as well. I would hope to move Trey before he gets exposed on a rebuilding roster, because he does not have value to a rebuilding team

He is above average but that’s it

He’s averaged less games played than Lonzo ball as a pelican.

That matters. Ready for him to be gone. Hopefully some team gets desperate and we get something decent for him.

Didn’t yall say this shite as a reason to not trade Ball at the deadline for Lauri M? Trading Ball would upset BI and Zion and make them want to leave?

It’s business, it’s why Griff can’t field a winner instead of worrying about being a ‘family’

If they decide to trade both Zion and BI, unless they get back a top 20 player with gravity, they need to blow it up. Otherwise you're going to become like Sacramento and Orlando of the last 10-15 years, not bad enough for a top pick but not good enough to escape the lottery.

They aren't getting a top 20 player. That's a pipe dream. If we're trading them, we're the sellers. Any attempt to bring back or keep talent after that would be idiotic, which is why it will likely happen, because none of us are ready to suck this bad for 4 years.

You tell us. You're the only person obsessing over that shite 5 years later.

No, it's because he got bamboozled by the false promise of Zion. He never should have treated Zion like the core of this team until he earned it.

You mean the team that’s playing winning basketball despite not having their 2 best players? I would love to swap rosters with Orlando

This is beyond stupid.
The average player plays less than 5 years. BI will play over a decade.
