They slowed the tempo down today and only pushed it in spots. Probably the reason why they allowed Zion to play as much as he did i the 4th.

Defense was definitely better today. Maybe turn down the pace to spots and save some for defense?

Zion’s touch around the basket is insanely good.

Him running towards the basket in that pnr with BI is going to be the most unstoppable play in the league.

Out of all of his crazy talent, this is really what has always stood out to me. For a player that is so explosive to have that amount of touch is incredible.

It really is. And on the flip side there’s Lonzo who clangs shite off the rim and backboard with zero touch

The digital fan experience was pretty decent. It was like getting to watch the game at a small watch party.

They had one of the Pels dance team members there to try to keep the crowd hype. And it's pretty cool whenever you can see yourself in the "crowd" on TV. I'd recommend if any of you get the chance to do it.

I can't remember a single made shot by Lonzo in the bubble. He needs to get his 3 ball back. He's generally played solid defense and has had some insane passes. The pass over Jrue's shoulder tonight was phenomenal.

For tonight's game, I saw pretty much everything I wanted to see aside from good FT shooting and Lonzo's 3 ball.

Jrue played incredible defense.

Zion was competent on defense (aside from 2 consecutive plays in Q4 where he let Jackson past him easily, then followed up losing him for an open 3). He looked tired at the end of his first Q4 stint with about 8 minutes left, but came back in with about 4 left and looked good. I think we probably can't play him more than 6 consecutive minutes right now, but we can give him multiple "bursts" in Q2 and Q4. He had two great consecutive assists, which was one of his "overlooked" aspects coming out of Duke.

Ingram played fairly well most of the game, then got the killer instinct in crunch time and looked very Durant-esque. I know that we have a lot of talent and don't want too much ISO play, but he did it when our offense was slumping.

NAW got some meaningful and fairly productive minutes early, then didn't see the court very much afterwards. No complaints as we won. Hopefully got his confidence up by being effective against legit players.

Most importantly for this season (not so much in the future) was Favors looking good. Hopefully he has another ~20 consecutive make streaks left in him.

I don't remember them, but yeah, he was 2/7 from 3, and apparently he didn't take a 2pt shot. I like our chances the rest of the way (especially with Zion getting back into "shape"), but he needs to do better if we want to make the Lakers sweat.

Best half to full court passer in the league though. Laser precision

This team has to have an ISO player like Ingram because we have some terrible half court sets. There were multiple times where players were occupying the same space or running into each other in the half court. Too many possessions of dribble the ball until the shot clock is low and then someone tries to do it on their own. Happy for the win though.

I would add Melli passing up open 3's to the list, and not hitting the ones he took at a good rate.
Zion drove in the 4th quarter and hit him on the wing wide open and he passed up the shot for some reason, and we ended up with a forced shot we missed as the shot clock went down.
If he's not going to shoot 3's when open, much less knock them down, then he has no reason to play at all. That's how he was to start the season, then he started playing really well later on. I'd bet his play has more of an impact on us winning or losing than most would think, even in his off the bench role. If he can't be a threat from 3, then we have no big men that are a threat on offense ouside of Hayes rim running.
