If that's true it bothers me more from a continued injury bad luck than anything having to do with cap space or roster management. When is this team going to catch a break?

I have to think that the reasoning is "Let's get a top 5 defensive backcourt for a year while we develop Hield for a season, then let Jrue walk and spend money on a 3." I get it, but I think this year's SF class is a bit deeper than next year's, and I'm a bigger fan of Jrue than most anyone on this forum, so not a huge fan if that happens.
