Ok I’m psychic. Let’s see this happen:

Sign and trade with Norman added in.

You should change your title to make it clearer that you're bumping your own speculation and not breaking news.

Or just trade Jrue to ATL/GSW and sign FVV

I just don't see the Raptors doing this. Powell had a huge year and they have been developing VanVleet for years. That is their bacj court of the furtue and they don't gain anything with Holiday. Honestly, its a step back.

Unless it's a salary dump to clear space for Giannis. But they can sign and trade VanVleet without giving up Powell or gaining long term money..

“Let’s see this happen” is clearly me saying that is hasn’t happened. Not my fault if the English comprehension skills is lacking

Yes that is all true however Raptors are desperate to draw Giannis to their team and they may think a vet like Jru will help them do it. Either way they are looking to mix their chemistry up and so are the Pels. Maybe it helps both teams

1) contract and age
2) incredible chemistry potential as 3rd wheel to Zion and Ingram
3) leadership qualities

That's not your title. You already bumped it in another thread.

Because fit matters more than pure talent, VanVleet has skills that better matchup with the needs of this team.

In a traditional sense, point guard duties on offense.

ETA: not to mention that he is a much better shooter than Jrue

well, there's a tradeoff

Pels fans would hate his shot selection. Better at 3, much worse at everything else

Can't see us having FVV, JJ, and Lonzo.

Not saying that it's going to happen by any stretch, but what's wrong with having VV, JJ, and Ball? Chances are that this might be JJ's last season in New Orleans anyway.

You answered your own question. If this is JJs last season then why would we trade Jrue, keep him, and then add another player that plays a similar role? SVG has already explained Lonzos role and it is similar to JJ. So we have JJ, Lonzo, FVV, and Hart? No true defensive SF and no true facilitator?

In reality defense gets worse and you see a lot more pop up 3s which could be great some games and terrible other games. The only way this works is in an offense based on rebounding and a pick n roll with BI/ Zion. The problem is that I don't like any lineup with those guys and BI/ Zion off the court.
