Yes obviously he's been "good"
For reference A few career PER numbers:
Jordan = 27.91
Lebron = 27.79
Shaq = 26.43
CAREER numbers

Howard's PER = 27.6
Based on 5 games matched up against Robin Lopez

When this thread started how did I know it would make it to 4 pages with Boom slobbing all over Howard? Quit feeding the troll people. Don't allow him his one last hoorah before the Rockets lose game 6 and he's off our damn board for 6 months.

I think we can argue Dwight and Hibbert all day BUT is a Hibbert trade a possibility?
I mean I hate to be such a homer/pie in the sky/unrealistic fan but damn I mean the Pacers may want him out
Screw it leggo EG + PJ + Ajinca whatever for Hibbert

Hey CAP, go back and read where I said he has been a top 5 player in THESE PLAYOFFS.
It's your fellow Pels fans who tried to discount his performance and I used some other numbers just as a reference to help them understand how good he's been.

The only thing Howard has proved this season is that he is no longer a franchise type of player. He's still a very good player but he's not the dominant force he once was.

You don't know what a troll is. Why don't you request admin and see if I can get banned for trolling this thread if that's what I'm doing. Just because I have a differing opinion doesnt mean I'm trolling.

Ok, fantastic. What does that have do with the career and season PER numbers that you posted for comparison?
I'll give you that Howard is carrying the Rockets so far, but he is matched up against a pretty bad defensive big man.
Out of curiosity, what is your "top 5 player in the league" Harden's PER so far this post-season?
Posted on 5/1/14 at 4:18 pm to supe12sta12z
Dwight good player but there really aren't a bunch of dominant centers in the NBA so I mean you can say he's one of the best in a shallow talent pool
He's also been going against Robin Lopez who don't get me wrong I'd love to have in Nola but he's an average center and defender at best

Wrong thread, stay on topic. Why is that so hard to do?

Every thread that involves big men on this board turns into Howard vs. AD. You are a troll cause no one agrees with you yet you keep pounding the same drum and riling people up.
Have a great summer Boom. See ya next season. Hope the door hits you in your arse on the way out.

For comparison purposes for the guy who said that dwight had been simply "good" and not dominant. You are better than this bro.

hat's regular season, a championship has NEVER been won in the regular season.
So, PER lies in the regular season, but doesn't lie in a first round playoff series.
5 games is a better sample size than 82. Got it.

Maybe you should stop being such a homer and be more open minded to, ya know, reality?

This thread was never about Howard v AD.

I've got a feeling I'll be watching my team play for at least a few more weeks. Either way, I'll be here to break down the action with you guys. And I still post in the offseasons so don't count on seeing me til next season whatever that means.

Taking statistics from 5 games against the same team over a span of a week is comparable to hundreds of games against every team in the league over a span of years??

I looked it up for you. Its 15.21 with a TS% of 47.1%.

Ehh could you do that on Rockets Talk instead?

Also, AD's PER this year was better than ANY year in Howard's entire career.
So, be consistent. PER doesn't lie.
