I see no reason NOT to pursue him since he is a top GM / POBO prospect. I just don’t see him taking it.

I’m pushing Bobby Webster because I think he has talent and doesn’t want Masai Ujiri to get all the credit for the Raptors’ transformation.

Also false.

We could start on your schtick as a poster but I digress.

The job itself can be done by 1 person. There doesnt need to be a POBO and GM. Plenty of franchises including Boston only have 1. From everything that Im reading, Dell had full authotity and the next guy will have the same. The issue comes up in a situation where the best candidate wont take the job because they wont have POBO title.

You thought Dell Demps was a really good GM and defended him like his mother.

You thought Johnny Jones was a good coach and defended him like his mother.

I'm not trying to infer anything by it. It just calls his basketball leadership opinions into question.

Johnny Jones was a terrible coach. I never once said he was a good coach. Stop with your lies. I said I would give Jones another year after the Simmons fiasco based on his previous record compared to past LSU coaches and if he didnt get it fixed he should be fired. Seems LSU admin agreed eith me. Not my fault you cant read.

Im the one who said the Pels wouldnt make the playoffs this year. Go bump the threads of me talking about the PG situation. While your boy Fun Bunch was talking about Rondo not being missed and whatever else shite he was saying.

Yeah but one problem the Pels have is inexperienced (in basketball) ownership. I think they need multiple authoritative basketball voices to convince ownership of #basketballreasons for things. It boggles my mind that they have possibly kicked around the idea of acquiring bad fits and/or crippling contracts to have a ticket selling star. What I want most in a GM is someone that can convince ownership that that is a terrible idea.

Imagine building on this end of season hustle squad that fans seem to be identifying with by bringing in more guys that fit like Marcus Smart. You have a new blue collar identity and even a future star in Tatum, but then ownership thinks Tatum won't sell enough tickets immediately so they push to sign Boogie who doesn't fit a blue collar team at all. For an NBA team to excel Ownership, the Front Office, and the Coaching Staff all need to be moving in the same direction.

Look man.

Let's let bygones be bygones. Let's move on and either ignore or tolerate each other.

We both want the Pels to be great.

Yeah I Don’t think he comes here unless we give him the POBO job as well. Then once ainge is done, he’ll just leave us for Boston

As much as a I want Zarren, by all accounts he is Boston born and bred and is going to need serious enticement to be pried away from what is a pretty ideal situation as the heir apparent.

He goes to every home game and sits in the stands with his dad. Every single one...

Yeah. Its a very big longshot.

My guess is that Fletcher has his interns doing google searches and throwing out popular names that have come up in recent GM searches.

I was listening to 1280, a station that Fletcher calls in to often, and a caller called in and mentioned Zarren.

Then I saw Fletcher's tweet 5 minutes later.
