Saw that, that was hilarious. Just gave his jersey away and walked off.

That is a boss move for a rookie.

More size on defense and consistent shooting on perimeter and we'll be fine moving forward

Every NBA game I watch I realize just how soft this shite is now. No one contests a shot at the rim because everyone is scared to get dunked on. The literally just run out the way constantly. It’s the everyone is friends league. Makes you miss a guy like Kobe(even though I hated him when we had to play him) but the guy didn’t back down from anything and he wasn’t out there to make friends.

They just go through stretches where they play dumb, go cold as hell on offense and get to taken to the house on D. After taking a 6 point lead the Pels went on a four and half minute stretch without making a basket.

Zion hasn't kept anyone from getting to the rim easily but you think he'll stop Lebron from getting there?

He stopped AD from getting to the rim easy last time. It was very obvious too.

Gentry so obsessed with run run run fast break that we play out of control turning the ball over , and suck at half court execution esp when we need a basket

Did you miss the last Lakers game when he was on AD?

So because of the 5 times last game where Zion was matched up with AD, you think he could play a full game guarding Lebron?

Nice straw man argument. Zion has the ability to guard Lebron in short spurts but his stamina is not anywhere near Lebrons so it’s not a wise move. That’s like trying to put a 100M sprinter against a marathon runner.

Was what we were doing working? He doesn't have to be on him the whole game, but some freaking help might work.

Right now, no he does not.

There's still a lot of "rookie" to Zion's game and defense is chief among them. He has been a minus-defender pretty much all season long.

That, rebounding (only two games with 10+ boards this season) and a mid-range jumper will come as he grows in the NBA. Once it does, look the frick out. But right now, he is not ready to guard the other team's best player.
