Is he our full time PG this year? Are we expecting him to avg 30-33 mpg? I guess given his size he's a versatile defender, given the talents around him, i'd hope his assist can go up a bit more. Are we ever going to expect him to be a 18-22 ppg scorer? Rajon Rondo's career high ppg never even reached 14, career avg of 10+. Lester Earl raised his 3 ball expectations this very next year to league avg. Would be nice if this dude developed a 3, defense, court vision, zion running mate, 3 ball shooter.

Come back healthy and spend the summer working on his body strength and endurance.

Work on that 3point shot, try to get it to 35%+.

And keep doing his thing on the court and then he should be good.

I don’t think he’ll ever be a 20 PPG guy. If he figures out his free throws and gets a solid jump shot he can be in the teens. But for now his role next to Jrue is to play defense, create and take the load off of Jrue as primary ball handler and run in transition.

He rebounds very well for a guard and that fits perfectly with how Gentry wants to push the pace. Our transition game will be fun to watch this year. Half court will take some time to come around as the fit with most of our guys is a little awkward, but these guys are young so we have to give it time.

I don't think so, but I could see mid teens.

I don't think this is out of the question.

Maybe elfrids stats this past season as a baseline?

29 MPG

10.6 PPG
7.6 AST
5.2 REB
~43% FG
31.5% 3s

If somehow he could hit FTs near 60% and 3s around 35% I could see him getting to 13-14 PPG

Feel free for anyone to justify/explain this.

Why does Lonzo have a pretty low PER in his 2 years thus far? Bad player or just mostly his offensive skillset isn't there yet?

PER is very skewed towards offense. He shoots 38% from the field and only 45% from 2 so his offensive efficiency is very poor. If you look at stats like win shares and VORP, defense is better taken into account and he is much better defensively.

If he hits 35% of his 3’s at 5 attempts per game and stays away from midrange shots all together his PER should shoot up.

Confidence issues stemming from the Lakers stripping him of any freedom to play freely. The Laker’s distunction hurt him.

12/8/6/1.7 alone would be pretty great step for him in his 3rd year.

25-30mpg
36% from 3, mostly wide open shots
70% from the free throw line
7+ assists per game
shut down defender
excellent defensive rebounder turning it into transition buckets
STAY HEALTHY

If i can't see a steady increase in his free throw and 3 point %'s over the course of the year, and see him maintain at least a month at those numbers, then i'd trade him next offseason.

Kid took nearly 200 threes in college and hit 40% of them, and hit 67% from the free throw line. Get back to that level or get Markelle Fultzed. Hopefully he pans out, or at worst, we get some asset back for him in a trade.

Not get hurt, dish out lots of assists, play some D.

He should be able to do two of those. Hopefully three if he wears some real shoes instead of that BBB crap.

Maybe his career ceiling is like a Ricky Rubio but with better defense.

I’ll go 12/7/7 with 2 steals a game. Efficiency is anyone’s guess- hopefully he finds his shot again
