Yeah, I kinda just meant hopefully it comes together like he plans.

While I hate giving up those potential trade assets, it's more than worth it to secure Tyreke. I'm fricking pumped.

We still need a center and a SF if we really don't plan on starting Evans. As it is now, Darius Miller is our starting 3 (although, I have a sneaking suspicion that Evans will be starting with Ryno as the 6th man.)

I'd much prefer Ryno and Evans be our spark off the bench.. Let the offense run through Jrue, Gordon and Davis
Our starting lineup would be pretty sound on D (Holiday, Gordon, Aminu, Davis, whoever)
Aminu = Bruce Bowen
Evans = Ginobili
(Don't over analyze it)
2nd team of Roberts/Rivers/Evans, Miller, Anderson, Smith would be a damn fine bench.. Able to penetrate and/or dish it outside for a 3

Then who do you sign to start at the 3 and 5?

And now you all know what these tweets and comments and rumors and stuff were all about: posturing. Both sides were butting heads to come to this -- ideally the Pels would have preferred to get more assets for Vasquez and Lopez but this way you guarantee it.
Next up, trading Glass Gordon for a center.

I love us getting a talent like Evans. But we are actually downgrading our 5 and haven't answered our two biggest position questions. I'm hoping Dell isn't done. We need a 3!
What's the latest on Copeland? I heard Indiana was interested, but hasn't offered a contract yet.

How much cap space will we have to work with now?
Posted on 7/4/13 at 6:46 am to Suntiger
If the Kings are not going to match anyway, I see no reason to have to give up,Lopez as part of the deal. With his contract, I think he's worth keeping around and see what else you might be able to do with him. Vasquez makes a lot of sense in a S&T.
I understand salary dumps in the NBA, but as average as Lopez is it would still leave us damn empty at the 5

So we can get rid of Vazquez OR Lopez and we have enough room to sign Evans?
Yea I don't get why we are doing both. I mean I guess I get one because we have to get rid of one, but I would rather swing one of them before we sign Evans and get some cash out of it or something.

Chris Paul said that Vasquez was a future all-star this past year. He's better for the team straight up than 'Reke would be, let alone at the price.

I'm honestly ok with getting a cheap, athletic 3 to play defense. You're not going to have 5 great players. We can move around Evans and pair him with Jrue/Gordon or even put him at 3 for spurts. We have a damn fine backcourt who can all score in different ways. Anderson can score, Davis can score. I'm liking it.
Also...I'm sure there is some kind of plan to add depth up front. We're not just going to roll with AD.

I actually think GV will be good for the kings roster
Not thrilled over losing Lopez. But he is what he is. If EG can be shipped out for a C and parts well that'll help
