Yes, he is a diva. Yes, he has injury problems. Yes, he has had issues committing to the Pelicans in the past and has even made us feel as though he wanted out of the city.

But how come no one is talking about Jrue Holiday?

quote:

"I'm all in with the Pelicans," said Gordon, who has been friends with Holiday and Evans since their AAU days. "It would be great if we can all play together. I would say we'd definitely have a chance to make the playoffs."

EG and Jrue have been buddies for quite some time. Now EG10 has a legit friend in the backcourt that loves to pass the ball. Jrue scored almost 20 PPG last season because he had to. He will be able to drop back and be a true PG this season.

So what I am saying is...

Eric Gordon is here to stay. He isn't going to be traded and shouldn't be. He has gotten over himself and realizes he isn't worth what his friends are telling him anymore, he has to earn it.

This is going to be a fun season to watch and EG10 will be much improved.

EG makes the all star team this year along with Jrue. Book it.

Could have big years worthy of AS appearance, but doubt it'll happen in the stacked west.

He gets so excited and acts like he wants to be here when we finally start getting talent.

Your opinion is what Dell, Monty, and majority of the fans are thinking or hoping

We thought he'd be Eric Gordon last year after the 9 game season. Then he's out indefinitely.

I'll believe he'll play a healthy season only after I see it.

I use to believe in Santa Claus, the Easter Rabbit, the Tooth Fairy, and an Eric Gordon worth $14 Mill a year; I've long outgrown those beliefs.

I'm cautiously optimistic about him.

Never ceases to amaze me how gullible people are when it comes to player statements in the media, twitter, etc. As far as Gordon being Gordon... do you mean missing half or more of the games this season? I can totally see that.

Sounds about right.

Eric Gordon can finally become a full-fledged diva, who can get a big paycheck while sitting on the trainers table, and give Monty & the city grief.

Here's to hoping he doesn't become the Eric Gordon he's been since his career started. It be nice for Eric Gordon to turn a new leaf & become a healthy all-star.

Here's the deal. The easy "smart" or "realistic" or "non-sunshine pumping" position is to say Gordon sucks and always will in N.O.

I have no idea what will happen this coming season. My question is this. If Gordon has an all star level year will the haters have the balls to show up and say they were wrong?

Really Gordon? You have to have more confidence than that!

At least he said "we"; maybe we'll get more than 9 games out of him.

Hey, you have to look long and hard for anything positive from Mr. Rehab.

Yes, I am glad to hear that. But making the playoffs is no achievement, it only means you're a little better than average.
