I'm hoping it's just trolls though. We have a lot of those recently on here.
The Mick will soon proclaim that he's not trolling so as to appease the moderators.

It was a pretty big injury. And I'm sick of people saying that he clearly doesn't want to be here when they have no proof (like you).
People think just because he was upset at the clippers for lying to him about trading him that he didn't want to be here.

you dont think the team kept him out longer last yr because we were tanking most of last yr

That had a lot to do with it, but they also wanted to be absolutely sure the knee was treated correctly and rested, imo.

This. He was lied to and uprooted, and he seemed genuinely hurt by it.

Why rush Gordon back and risk an even worse injury when we had no chance at salvaging the season? It was a smart move by the staff. Save Gordon for next year. Don't risk a career-hampering injury just to get a few more wins in a bad season.

Assuming you're not trolling, you can't say clearly he doesn't want to be here and your evidence be that 'he made some comments I think'. According to your own words, it's not even that clear to you that he doesn't want to be here.

Y'all do realize Mick trolls almost as hard as el gaucho, right?

Incorrect. There were initial reports of him being pissed at the trade. This was miscontrued at him being pissed about going to NO when he was really pissed about being lied to by the Clippers about not being traded. He found out he was traded while with fans on a bus tour doing PR work for the Clippers. I'm not saying he was happy to come to NO at first, but the initial anger was for the Clippers not NO. Then during the first few games of the season a tweet was taken out of context. In an effort to rally fan support he said something like "see how hard we play New Orleans" which some people took as a shot at the fans when it was clearly a beginning of the season call for support from the fans.

Can you name another minor injury to a pro athlete where the first treatment was 6 weeks of rest? If there are any that team was probably tanking too.
If you didn't pay much attention and only have a fuzzy memory of headlines you saw in passing then yes it looks bad, but if you followed every day last season and were able to keep things in the proper context the situation with Gordon is not even close to what some of you think it is.

I thought I remember him not being so happy when he was traded here. Explain how this makes me a troll?

Tanking is a good explanation actually, I can buy that.

Not saying you came here to troll, you probably genuinely thought what you posted. In a vacuum that's fine.
But you have to understand, you are about the eleventy billionth poster to come here and say this same thing in the past week. It's very tiresome to explain that it is way out of context and, for the most part, unsubstantiated.
Can we please go back to being invisible to the rest of TD like we were before we won the lottery?

I'm not saying he loves it here. But it doesn't mean he wants out. I already explained why he was upset when he was traded here. And people like you expect players who come here to fricking love the city right away. It doesnt work that way. You never gave Gordon a chance.
What did you expect from him when he was traded here? That he would whip his dick out at the press conference and jerk it to the thought of playing in New Orleans who at the time had no owner and no talent?

This is what I find tiresome. People post that crap with only a limited knowledge of the facts surrounding the original trade and things that have occurred and been said in the last several months, as well as how the situation has evolved with ownership and management.
Plus there are a few posters who have a personal bias when it comes to N.O., and they tend to project that bias onto Gordon and others.
