He came into camp looking pretty slim last season, but he's apparently gotten in even better shape.
Here's a picture he posted on July 4th

I hope he got some of his athleticism back by shed some dead weight.

Monty wanted them to grind it out so they needed the extra padding.

#Pelicans Gordon: It was an easy decision to come back. This team is on the come-up and we are expecting to big things next year.
#Pelicans' Gordon: "I think this system just fits our team. We can be a fast-paced and high tempo team. We just have to drive it the pace."

Was just coming here to post this pic. Must be on the Bron/Melo low carb diet that everybody wouldn't shut up about last summer

Lot of quotes from him and QPon:

Pondexter said he knows his conditioning will need to improve this year b/c he's never played in a system like this. Though he "loves it"

Pondexter: I think I'll be able to find my way on the floor with all of these open 3s we are seeing out here. It's a perfect fit.
Scott Kushner ?@ScottDKushner 44m44 minutes ago
#Pelicans Pondexter said he's able to keep up his fitness despite knee recovery: "I've been working my butt off to be ready when I'm back."

besides seeing AD's progression, I am most interested in seeing what QPon can do. I think he is the right combination of maturity and professionalism to be a real leader on this team.

No lie, that's the first and only time I have ever seen him smile. Guess it's safe to say he's FINALLY happy to be a New Orleans Pelican.

You don't have to be in good shape to walk up the court on offense and give up layups and dunks on defense.

Jimmer is always in shape and never gets hurt.
