Lakers: AD, Conley
Memphis: Ball, Kuzma, #4 pick(Culver)
Pelicans: Ingram, #2 pick, Hart

This might be a "2k" but in reality I can make a case for all teams to win in this trade. Lakers get vets who are all ready to win now, Memphis gets and new "grind" player who values defense and can get JJJ spaces plus an shooting stretch big. Pelicans get great value for AD and fufill their new nucleus of:

Morant
Jrue
Ingram
Zion
Deadmon(FA)

Don't see how Lakers get AD AND Conley for the same offer that many think is not enough for AD.

Wat

Of course it makes no sense at all for Memphis.

Maybe Ja Morrant recent health scare and lack of Defense pushes them away? Word is ALOT of GMs value Ball potential and Culver has been killing it in draft workouts supposedly. They need ALOT of talent so Kuzma, ball and Culver vs Ja Morant could be an argument right?

Lakers are doing a huge favor for the Grizzles absorbing that huge contract. Maybe throw in some future picks as a sweetner. Also it would be enough if we get Ingram (assuming he is healthy) plus Ja Morrant. I think that's actually fair for AD personally.

As the Grizzlies, I like this trade because it frees up a good amount of cap space and loads them with young talent.

As the Pels, I’d want at least one future pick from the Lakers and a swap for another but other than that, it seems mostly agreeable. Though I would want to go after Vucevic instead of Dedmon to help stretch the floor for Zion.

I don’t see why Memphis would do this.

Ball and Kuzma have made a lot of noise about their preference to get bad press in a big market than to be in a tiny market. And Memphis is about the smallest market in the NBA.

While I would love to get Ja, I don’t see this as being the right deal to dislodge him from Memphis.

How would y’all feel about a package from the Spurs? Aldridge or DeRozan and then L Walker and D. White plus picks.

Sounds good to me

I think we throw Jrue in there. If you blow it up dont half arse it

I really dont think Jrue will want to play with this young talent. He wants that ring and would wanna do to a playoff contender

None of those Lakers players are special, although Ball could be. Not interested in trading AD for non-special players. So Ball the only one I would be interested in, although I realize it’s a risk.

I came up with this idea a couple weeks ago, but Memphis and NOP would need more..

The deal couldnt be executed until after the draft when LA has cap space, but:

LAL: AD, Conley
MEM: Ball, Kuz, Hill, #4, 2020 LA 1st
NO:Ingram, Hart, Morant, 21 pick swap, 22 1st

Every team wins

Despite the fact he has said numerous times that hes ready to step up and have his own team, and he is so excited after we won the draft lottery??

You think hes going to pull a Lebron and say "Nahhh fam, trade them youngsters and get me JR Smith and Love"

He literally knows we will be a young team, and he is excited about it, quit with this stupid arse narrative.

Ball can't shoot.

So Culver and Kuzma and "maybe" for morant.
I do that deal. Then
I'd trade lonzo for a bag of magic beans.
The right to exchange unprotected firsts until it's executed.
Eventually jackpot.

If we take the Lakers package, I'd like to flip some of those pieces for Turner. Something like:

NO In: Turner, Ingram, Hart, Pick 4 (Garland or White), Future Lakers first (21, 23)
LA In: AD
Ind In: Kuzma, Ball, Moore

Sign vets like Dudley, PBev or Collison

PBev or Collison, Garland or White
Jrue, Hart/Frank
Ingram, KWill/Dudley
Zion, Dudley/Woods
Turner, Jah/Woods

Lakers fans would love this, that's for sure.

The same offer that couldn't land AD would now land AD and Conley... Why?

And Memphis doesn't really have any incentive to trade down from #2. They can easily trade Conley and keep #2 overall.
