But an argument can be made that just letting this team grow naturally with Hayes and NAW coming into their own may be all we need to do. Unfortunately we just do not have the time or luxury to wait and find out.

I hope you're not serious.

The biggest problem with all of this blowing up:

Ain’t no team doing Griffin any favors. Every team thinks they can get Zion. They aren’t going to deal with Griff unless they are absolutely raping the frick out of us.

And now our FA prospects are even more fricked than usual. What player would come here with the dark cloud over the franchise.

Yep. Getting lucky in the lottery is the only thing that can possibly lower the temperature right now.

But maybe if every team wants him... they gotta pony up and beat the next best teams offer. Only silver lining in it.

I that depends on who we hire. If we get someone that people think is going to be good, then that can change the narrative going into the draft and free agency.

Why? It’s definitely not the route I want to take. I was just saying if every team smells the blood and requires us to vastly overpay to get a deal done, then it’s an option.

If plans A through M fall apart, our roster could be worse with no room for internal growth.

If we got the #1 pick, the negative stories from the national press are going to SKYROCKET. They will be salty as frick.

I would say this Zion family leak makes it a lot more likely. You need to win to put out the fire, are you going to bet on an MLE signing to get you there or trade multiple 1sts for someone like Brogdon or CJ?

I mean, it was already likely. That was obvious when Griffin said that he wanted to trade our pick. We were never planning on just the MLE.
