I don't think the Sydney Kings would take him

Naji and Didi is a nice little defensive duo off the bench

Are these stats not accurate?

Because “really good games” is not how I would describe 39% from the field and 26% from three, 57% from the line.

With his last 10 or so games being skewed by one great performance and a bunch of terrible ones.

I hope him the best but this feels like fans when they hyped up Frank Jackson, except Didi has shown far less to deserve it

Over his two years in Sydney, Louzada added nearly 40 pounds to his frame and was widely regarded as one of the NBL's most reliable perimeter defenders.

Wow. I didn't realize that Didi had put on 40 pounds in Australia.

I'm excited. Clearly, we aren't interested in tanking.

im more looking at boards and this month his shot has been okay. He had a 28 point game a week ago or so. Think he can be another Naji type player for us. He’s gonna play his arse off which at this point is something we lack with NAW and Hart out

He's out for the rest of the season.

Which they'll need because Beal makes a lot of money. There's no way Griff doesn't make some major moves this offseason which means cheap depth will be essential to not be a top heavy roster.

I hope you’re right. He has to make something happen

The thing is we don’t really need any more offensively limited defensive orientated guards.

At this point it’s worth it just to see if maybe there’s another gear he didn’t show in Australia ala Lamelo, but as is I hope the multi year deal is something like a 1 and 1 or 2 and 1 at near minimum the minimum.

In Griff's most recent interview, he implied that he expected Hart back in time for the last couple of games of the regular season.

Supposedly, since Didi is a Pelicans draft pick, we can sign him to a multi-year deal right now, and because there's so little of the season left, this year counts as "year zero" and doesn't put us into the luxury tax.

That's why this is possible.

The other advantage is not using any of next year's MLE to sign him. Pelicans had their full non taxpayer MLE still available from this year.

Keep in mind the game since and then half dozen before he was a combined 25-80(31%), and 4-38 from three(11%).

He’s basically had two outstanding offensive games this season, one in April, one back in February. All but one game besides those two was a very below average efficiency game.

I think people are setting themselves up for major disappointment if they think they are getting anything but a defensive utility guard that is going to look like a shorter version of Keinrich Williams offensively.
