Sacramento Kings GM Vlade Divac is willing to see the trade market for DeMarcus Cousins, as he's become more... fb.me/62wNy6OG6

Didn't Karl want to flip him a year ago? Would have gotten a fricking King's ransom for him. Nice work, Vlade.

There are 4 teams with 3 1st rounders this year and they all have attractive young talent to throw in as well. The Pels would need to win the lottery to have any shot at trading for a star level player.

Dude will still get a good return, even with his warts.

$16M and $18M over the next two years with $92M and $110M caps for one of the 15-20 best players in the league is worth the risk. If I'm Washington, send it all for Boogie.

Can't find 26/12 guys everyday. A plus is he and AD are friends anyway which chemistry helps.
Asik and what else needs to go?besides everyone not named AD and Jrue

2 players in the NBA averaged over 20/10 this past season. Why not have both of them.

Wall/Boogie would be fun. I'm hoping it's Wall/KD, though. Hard to find a better fitting 1-2 punch. Would be so fun to watch and would be the end of OKC.

Unless we trade AD it would take us winning the lottery + Jrue most likely

Boston could probably offer a tempting package.

Sure that would be great for us but I don't think Sacramento would appreciate the trade rape

They get trade raped like once or twice a year, so it's not impossible.

I don't think the market for Boogie is going to be as strong as many would believe. Just because some teams have lots of draft picks, that doesn't mean they are desirable picks. And just because they have young assets, that doesn't mean that they would want to give up any of them in exchange for someone with Cousins' baggage.

You also have to factor in the incompetence of the Kings organization for gauging what the return for him will be. Does anyone think they are intelligent enough to not be swindled?

If Boston is the only team bidding then of course they'll lowball the Kings. But Boston has been saving up specifically for someone like Cousins, so if we're in, they're probably in, and if we offer 6 + Jrue they'll offer 3 + Bradley. Are there some limits like not throwing in Crowder? Well considering how little the Pels have in spare assets, we wouldn't get to test how interested they were. We'd be going to an auction with only enough money to cover the open round of bidding.

I wonder what they'll do if we somehow land 2 or 3. Ingram or Bender? trade?

It'd be hard to turn down a Jimmy Butler trade. That's a big enough splash to possibly attract Batum, or maybe even KD considering how loaded the Warriors and Spurs seem to be.

Would CHI trade Butler for the 1/2? That seems like lunacy.

Chicago is supposedly behind the recent negative leaks about Butler. That sounds crazy but we know that FO is combative and ego driven, and if they felt they needed to choose between Hoiberg and Butler, I can see them choosing Hoiberg. So with that dysfunctional foundation I don't think it'd take a king's ransom. I could see our 2016 and 2017 and something like Tyreke and Ajinca. That's actually a lot depending on your opinion of Tyreke.

I saw the rumblings with Butler. I'd give Chicago anything they want to get him, outside of AD.

Wait wait wait...if we are picking 6/7, we could package that pick with next years first, Asik and Reke and get Jimmy? That is trade rape times a million.

No, if we won the Lottery. And Ajinca, not Asik.

I'd still do that in a heartbeat if we won the lottery.
