Was he providing color commentary on the actual game or all of the ancillary stuff involved around the game. Guy was sucking off the refs. That was terrible.

Just like my pet-peeve with HS all-star football game commentators, stop all the extraneous chit-chat and talk about the damn players in the game!!!
They aren't household names, so tell us who is doing what on the court.
Outside of Duncan and Maten, I don't know who else played for Miami today and that team scored 100 points coming down to the final second.
Any casual observer was changing the channel with the quickness, especially non-Pels/non-Heat fans.
You can't expect someone to stick around listening to BS chit-chat & become invested in a game's story-line if they don't know who is scoring.
They aren't household names, so tell us who is doing what on the court.

He's terrible, borderline unlistenable. He almost ruined the game. And yes, he sounds just like Larry David's agent Jeff Garlin...which isn't helping things.

I do agree that what he was calling traveling, would indeed be a walk in college. That shite happens everyday in the NBA though.
