And the madness won't end

quote:

Sam Amick: Source with knowledge of NO-Clips Chris Paul deal tells me "I know it's close," but unclear if Clips SG Eric Gordon in it.

Although, I don't think the deal is "close" if Gordon's not in it. #NEGNC

If we get him, can we ship out Oak somewhere...maybe to the Clips?

I'm thinking Raptors, Grizzlies, or Rockets.

The Raptors desperately want a big man and are a year out from Jonas Valanucinas coming over from Europe.

The Grizzlies are believed to be losing Marc Gasol to the Rockets.

The Rockets could lose out on both Nene AND Marc Gasol, depending on how the Dwight Howard sweepstakes works out.

I dont know why the league is so dead set on Bledsoe. From what I've heard he's nothing special. Plus he'll be out the first month of the season. I just dont get why he would be the deal breaker

It is almost seeming to me like the league will just listen to any offers and ask for more than the other team is willing to part with and then drop a statement like #basketballReasons

He's actually a good player, despite his rapey looks.

He averaged 12.4, 7, and 1.5 in 25 minutes of play per game last season.

Compared to Mek's 10.3, 9.5, and 1.8 in 31 minutes.

If the deal goes through without Gordon, then everyone will know that "basketball reasons" was just a middle finger to the Lakers.

but then we have no one next year. And we'll have enough holes to fill next offseason what with all the suckage that we will see this season. I'd rather trade Kaman

Ideally you have 2 lottery picks and you get Drummond with one.

We are going to have to have simultaneous game threads for the hornets and t wolves games if this trade goes through.

I am the biggest fan of whoever the t wolves play if we own that pick.

really want to take your chance that Minnesota will be as bad this season? LAC could/should at least throw in their 1st round pick in 2013

I forgot about Drummond. But there's no guarentee we get the #1 and #2 picks and Davis and Drummond could go in that order.
