This really isn't that ridiculous of an idea. Obviously far-fetched to think Kobe would make such a drastic market switch, but it makes way more sense than any other team IMO.
Kobe has a massive ego. There are few teams he could come in and play winning ball on without being a roll player. Would be a legit way to end his career on a competitive team without looking like he conceded he can't lead a team anymore and so went to somewhere like Memphis to ride coattails.
