I think Loomis will be moved from his position. Tickets are going for $1 and the team is a laughing stock. I wouldn’t be surprised if there are some discussions going on eith Gayle and her group.

Pelicans are dead last in rim and three rate. They’re an early 2000’s offense in a league driven by analytics.

That’s going to lose you game no matter how healthy you are

They don’t have a system. They don’t ever have one. Willie blamed the players on postgame that they took tough shots. Maybe Willie figure out how to get your players easier shots.

Meanwhile I just saw the nets coach scheme open looks for a team full of role players that don’t have a single star. It’s not injuries with Willie. Injuries don’t mean you can’t shoot 40 3s or cut out the midrange shots

a stunning display of utterly inept coaching, if i've ever seen it....

Couldn’t have put it better myself.
What a disgusting finish to the game.
Pounding the ball, no urgency, no obvious sets being run.

It’s completely inept.

On the other end you get Nets shooters free every other possession and some how we’re still running iso mid range with 4 seconds on the clock over and over

And that’s my biggest bug bear with BI and paying him 45 million.
Yes he’s on the floor and playing when everyone isn’t. But when it’s crunch time and game is on the line, the good game he’s had in the previous 45 minutes means bugger all. He disappears and takes forced, tougher than normal shots and shrivels up. It always happens.
That is not superstar money.

We are the worst coached team in the NBA and it’s not close. I’m not sure why anyone tries to defend otherwise anymore. There is no scheme. No offense is being run. We can’t even inbound the ball. Every girls middle school team runs a better offense. Completely absurd.

Both teams have the talent. In the case of the Pelicans we have championship caliber talent on this team. The GM’s have done their job, it’s up to the coaches to coach that talent. It’s obvious Willie is either not up to that task, or the players just flat out don’t listen to him. “Players coaches” are awesome when things are going good, but when they’re not you need someone to jump down a guys neck, and Willie just won’t do that.

Are you high? This is not a good team and we are decimated by injuries. Alvarado got hurt last night (he already had a nagging ankle injury). Both of our somewhat stars, Ingram and Murphy, struggled. How does a coach scheme a win with these circumstances? We don't have closers on the team, that can take over.

Every thread is about firing the coach. Which I get. But I don't understand expectations. This isn't a good squad right now. The youth has to be played and they are developing. But we have no business winning games, unless our stars shine. What happened to Ingram in the 2nd half? He should have had 40pts. He was killing them in the 1st half. Does he need a coach to scheme for him?

This team overall has a LOT of talent.

1-7 our talent could match up with anyone in the league. Yes they are injured, but a good coach can still scheme up a few wins when injuries hit, especially when we probably were still somewhat the more talented team last night.

idk when you’ve been saying you need perimeter shooting around Zion for 6 years and yet you only give him 3 shooters, it’s a bit of malpractice. Too many mouths to feed on this roster which i guess isnt bad when it feels like half of them will be injured on and off throughout the season anyway. Griff got very lucky missi has played this well this early. No one expected that.

Our talent 3-12 can matchup or be better than most teams .

Our 1-2 do not match up with top teams . Hence ceiling that is on this roster . They are not leaders , they do not play enough games , they don’t impact t games in as many ways or affect their teammates other top guys .

What roster are you looking at? We are super weak past #6. Missi is a revelation and Boston has surprised. But when Alvarado and Hawkins (both hurt) are your #7 and #8, thats not a strong group. If Missi isn't surpassing expectations, we have no bigs on the team. No distributors and we might be the worst 3pt shooting team in the league.

This is not a strong roster and the injuries have gutted them. The coaching is bad too. But there has to be some reality. If any coach could get this group over .500, I'd be shocked. The Nets are a good team, with an identity and defined roles. We almost got them. I just put it more on the players than the coaches. Ingram should have finished them. What happened?

Trey, CJ, Hawk, Murray, BI, Jose and now Boston gives you plenty of shooting on high volume. When the HC decides he only needs one of those high volume shooters on the floor with Zion, well that’s a HC problem, not GM.

Point was your top 2 determines the ceiling . Out top 2 aren’t good enough for the reason stated above .

The rest of the roster peices of Herb,Trey , Jose , cj, Murray , hawk , missi , theis, Boston are as solid or better than most .

We don’t have a Luka , Lebron , Tatum / Brown, Steph , Giannis , etc .

I can't watch this team anymore as long as Willie is there. The Dennis Allen of the NBA.
