Gayle gave a honest response. She doe not know. She probably can’t even name 5 players on our team.
Fletcher was so mad his prediction was wrong his “I-team” went and crashed an event she was attending.
Someone brought up McNamara on Reddit. Mac. said it has been decided weeks ago and the fact that they think they cut out all the leaks is hilarious.

I agree with this, which is alarming that she hired Dumars who is keeping her in the dark in the search and can’t name her players.
This is the most miserable search that we know is going to lead to another failed hire.

Tell him anyone buying season tickets is a fool. You’ll be able to get $30 club seats about 15 games into the season.

I'm going to give them the benefit of the doubt and say that they are waiting to do their due diligence and interview Sean Sweeney when the Spurs are through. He was mentioned early on in the Pelicans searching process but has fallen off the radar. Suffice it to say, of all the names previously mentioned, Sweeney's stands out to me.
Too, I think if it was Rondo, it would have been announced already because of the 'media buzz' it would have generated. So, it's looking to me like it's Ham or Hetzel. If that's the case, I would run with Borrego.

Borrego, I am not sold on him. Kind of reminds me of when the Saints hired DA

I just looked over his resume. He's been an assistant coach for over 10 years. He worked for 4 teams; Hornets, Magic, Blazers, and now the Nets. I don't think any of those teams did anything of significance while he was with them. I don't know what he would have done to vault him into a head position..

According to Stein, the Pels are believed to be taking as much time as possible to allow for Mosley to become a full-fledged prime candidate for the post.

What the hell does this mean? Sounds like Mosely wants to be a HC again, but is distraught the only option available is the Pels so he needs time and space to come to grips with this reality.
Move on Dumars, Mosely isn’t worth another round of public humiliation.
