They only do it if a player shows symptoms, then they test him

No, we aren't doing what we did before, with regular testing.

If you have symptoms, then you're tested. And if you test positive, then yes, you stay away until you're clear.

And yeah, this isn't the playoffs, we probably don't want him getting the rest of the team sick -- he should stay away and get better.

You think people don't get sick and show actual symptoms from Covid?

Yeah but they just come back to work when they feel better. No need for a protocol.

CJ didn't play yesterday because he felt terrible and couldn't go.

I had COVID in May and it was definitely no fun and certainly worse than an ordinary cold.

If we said he’s out with the flu and staying in his room would that make some of y’all feel better? Cause that is exactly what he’s doing.

Yes, because the flu is much worse than COVID for a healthy person

ETA: I want someone who has had Covid and the flu this year to tell me with a straight face that Covid was worse

Is that all he is doing? The day he feels better can he come back or does he have to wait and pass a test to return?

ive had both, COVID in July and just getting over the flu now. Covid was 100x worse I thought I was gonna die. I realize it’s different for everyone but that sucked donkey balls and I never want to go thru that again

I’ve had Covid twice and I’d rather have the flu multiple times than get Covid again. I’m otherwise perfectly healthy and it’s put me on my arse more than any other illness I’ve ever had.

I think the protocol once a player tests positive he has to isolate for at least six days.

got covid for the first time a few weeks ago. I’d say it was about the same.

i think it’s been reduced to 3 days but I could be wrong. I remember they changed the rule for this year. Or has to have 3 negative tests ina row
