Forward to 36:50. Vernon and Kevin O’Connor start raving about this pelicans team. Hilarious considering all the shite Vernon was saying earlier. They rave about Murphy and literally salivate over Herb Jones. Vernon even goes as far saying we should be able to beat Lakers and/or Suns(recorded before the game). Funny how success on the main stage changes views by the media very quickly.

I don’t think his “views” about the team at the start of the year are mutually exclusive from this view, even if they were stupid views.

Not Verno. His Grizzlies homerism has always created a dislike of the Pellies due to a rivalry he created in his head

Not true, KOC is constantly repping the Pels, he watches a lot of their games. Now Vernon maybe not as much because he’s always making fun of KOC and his Pelicans fandom, but as already stated he is a grizzlies fan
