Nyquil money and being a semi regular on Ellen is small potatoes.

Again people, the only way to win in a market such as ours is to get a superstar via the draft and then build SMARTLY and SLOWLY around him.
We got our superstar but we fricked it up. We didn't draft well and we made boneheaded decisions via FA.
Its rebuild time. We lost it. Get the best deal possible, get us some draft picks, and lets start over again, but do it right this time.

It doesn't track. It just doesn't follow logic. He's literally saying one thing and doing another if this is all true.
I think the truth is he's open to being traded to New York, but also is open to playing for the Clippers AND New Orleans, just like we've been hearing.

frick this. Even if we have money to sign free agents later on no one wants to play here in a small market. We are fricked forever. Doesn't make sense because look what drew brews is doing In a small market

It certainly doesn't provide clarity like some said. Don't we have money to spend right now? Why not pick up some solid pieces around him that moves us in the right direction and see how the season goes? I still think we have time to work this. I'm still not sold on him taking a $40M hit to go there as a FA. Let's play under the new rules and zee how it goes.

Hornets like Steph Curry
I do too. One of my favorite players

i'd JIMP if we nabbed Curry. we haven't had a two worth a shite since the team came to New Orleans.

Bellinelli sucks. Ariza is an average NBA player and filled a need somewhat.
The front office did nothing to make this team a contender.
what the hell more could they have POSSIBLY done given the present cap situations/resources at their disposal when they took over?

I'd love to have Curry... but I'd settle definitely settle for Ellis.

I wonder what kind of package GSW could out together? And I doubt CP would resign there, so what's the point?
Multiple-team deal?
I do like Curry though.

Definitely one of my top 5 favorite players.
Im already checking the trade machine for 3+ team deals that gets Curry here and CP to NYC. Damn that Minny pick would be nice though

Curry would be the best of the worlds, good enough to make the games exciting & competitive but not good enough to lose us lottery spots.

There no deals with NY that work. Give up on that.
Maybe a deal with GSW and LAC?
Throw in Memphis (Ellis/Gay rumor) or an Indiana type team.

Who do you think we would get in a package from GS?

Don't think we can land Curry. They've been rumored to move Ellis for years.
I'd take any combo of Ellis w/ Udoh/Wright/Williams/Thompson.

Yea I'm assuming it'll be something centered around Ellis, too.
