Fittingly there is no D in Houston Rockettes.

So, you're saying that if you score 118 and give up 120, you win because offense is more valuable?

Elite offense > elite defense.

Good offense wins.

In all seriousness, Houston should win some games. They have an elite offensive player in James Harden. Offenses win games in the regular season.

They will be absolutely atrocious on Defense and won't make it out of the 1st round, though.

Anderson and Gordon also played in a D'Antoni type offense last year. Only real difference is filtering the offense through Harden

Like I said, they will score points. Scoring points wins you games against a lot of the shitty teams in the league. Regular season games.

Playoffs...absolutely not.

Also have to factor in Anderson and Gordon's health.

the New Orleans Saints

Actually to answer you questions it has happened the past 3 years:

2014 - Timberwolves 3rd in scoring
2015 - OKC - 3rd in scoring
2016 - Kings - 3rd in scoring

No just no. Please tell me you aren't using points per game.

Points up, probably 10% from last year. Shooting %s- for both of them up 3-4%. Boards, assist, roughly the same although Gordon will see a spike in assists. 6.5-7+ combined 3s made per game between them.

So you are saying the top offense does not score the most points?

You're talking to an idiot who claims that offense is more valuable than defense.

No points per game is influenced by pace, points per possession is the better determinant of team offense.
