Refs didn't convince Willie to play an awful rotation tonight

Four steps and then they give him the continuation after the fourth step??? when they called the foul??. Not to mention that wasn't even close to an and one. They called the foul and then he decided to shoot it up after that after his fourth step

Refs are bad but Pels have no life. No energy. They look tired.

Does it matter when a center can basically knock a player over and score and the player you knocked out gets a foul?

They literally look like they smoked a blunt before the game started. How many times have they passed it right by the center court on rotation and someone stole it

Jokic always bullies Jonas. Is this your first time watching them play?

Pelicans committed 10 fouls and the Nuggets went to the line 15 times.

Nuggets committed 18 fouls and the Pelicans went to the line 22 times.

Yet somehow you think the refs bailed them out or called an unfair game?

The refs did play a large role in the first qtr when Denver got the big lead. Zion was obviously fouled three times. The first was on a layup going to his left when Joel said “Zion across the lane, draws the contact, wow no whistle”, the DeAndre Ayton mugging, and he drove down the right baseline and Gordon clipped him causing him to lose the ball.

On the other hand the Nuggets got away with a blatant travel on a kickout pass from Jokic which resulted in a three.

Just those calls resulted in up to a negative 9 point swing. It’s funny, but every single one of the calls that went against the Pels occurred after Malone challenged and won the early foul call against Jokic. I really think that changed the way the game was officiated. They weren’t giving Zion a call because there was no way they were going to be embarrassed by two challenges in the first half, especially with one being on the two time MVP and consensus best player in the league.

Trey was off from outside, BI looked in a haze. Jonas was killed on Defense even though he tried. We had a terrible shooting game. The refs were bad, but w they lost the game on defense. We gave up 12 points on offensive rebounds where the othe player was not fixed out for a dunk or lay up.
Zion played hard and had a very good game.
Bi and trey should have sat last night halfway through the 3rd once it was over.
They need to stop the joker from getting the ball inside the free throw line.if it takes 2 bigs to stop him and cut down his passing lane so be it

The “rotation” thing has become an
involuntary reflex on this board. If the team on the floor loses, it doesn’t mean the rotation was bad.

We lost to the NBA champ in the middle of a road trip. shite happens.

Defending NBA champs coming home after a bad road loss motivated to play well. Considering quality of opponent, Pels needed to play better than they played against SAC and GS to win last night. They didn't, especially on defense and they lost, move on the next game.

The refs didn’t start calling the game different until mid third quarter. At that point Denver had a good lead. I just didn’t like they let people like beat on people in the paint. It was atrocious and not consistent with typical officiating. We really wanted to rest our guys and instead the refs decided to let Denver dictate a wrestling match in the paint. That is not typical NBA officiating. It takes away a good portion of our typical advantage when the refs let a team blatently do that.

I don’t care about the loss, but something obviously happened to have such a sudden change in the injury report to the whole team playing.
