Bucks would rather keep Ellis over Jennings

For those of you really wanting Jennings:
I guess the good news even if you hate Brandon Jennings, is this would potentially lower his price. You still may have to give up an asset in a S&T, but you wouldn't have to outbid Milwaukee for him.

And a free-agent rumble: There's a rising belief in exec circles that Bucks prefer to re-sign Monta Ellis over Brandon Jennings this summer
Bucks still have coaching choice to make: Larry Drew or Kelvin Sampson. But in backcourt there is sense they prefer Monta/Redick next season

I'd rather he stay overvalued so Demps isn't tempted...

I would rather Ellis if it came down to it. He had some nice momments as a starting PG after Davis left. If he can play within a system, he could really break out. Not likely to happen though and not really sure if it's a good fit here..

Jennings at 4/~$42mil would be fine with me. Other than Gordon's continuing health issues, Anderson/Davis/Gordon/Jennings core is pretty solid.
But some team is going to throw a max or near max at him.
Hope it isnt the Pels

Maybe not. Jennings didn't exactly end the season strong. Dallas is the other team I've seen with interest and last week I saw an article about them going after Jarrett Jack and one other PG I forget, as if Jennings wasn't at the top of their list.

Ellis could work either as a point or, if paired with Vasquez, as a 2 with the two of them switching off on defensive assignments.
Unfortunately, Ellis is still a bonehead who will take ill-advised shots or get lazy, which means he'll get his arse chewed by Monty if he comes here.
And Jennings is a player I really don't want. He has bad shot selection and, at 6'1" and 185, that's pretty damn slight for a guy who has been in the league for several years.
At least Burke has the chance to bulk up a bit over a few seasons.

Yes, I've seen where the Kings were going to take a big run at Ellis and put him with Evans (or just not re-sign Evans). Not sure if he'll want to stay with the Bucks. Especially if he can get a better deal else where. Not to mention getting blamed for their flame out in the playoffs..

Jennings is going to be a consideration. Many things will affect what transpires, but he will be a consideration.

We know Demps has been interested in the past.
I definitely do not want him at this point...at all, but I can definitely see us going after him.
Let's ask the question though:
What teams have cap space that will need a PG?

Utah and Dallas just off the top of my head.
