Griffin doesn't do well in these trades, though.

Funny how all the media was amazed that Dallas did not get Knecht and the Lakers other 1st and suddenly the Lakers use that to get Williams, No one can tell me that the Lakers are not being helped out with these ridiculous trades.

I understand that this was probably all we were gonna get for BI given how public his salary demands were. However, I will be beyond pissed if after getting such a bag of trash for him he signs a below market extension with Toronto.

Warriors supposedly looking for a “big man that can shoot”

GP3 and Podz salary aligns almost perfectly with Olynyk

On the other end, Pistons could use a player like Brown, Stewart or THJ with 2nds for Brown would be ideal

Forget the players. They aren't really the value here. Think of it as we shed salary and got a first round pick for Ingram.

Considering he's an expiring contract that we weren't going to re-sign, that's not bad at all.

I don’t even care about the return they got. Just glad that cancer is off the team

Ingram was far from a cancer. Just a dumb comment.

BI is not worth $40 million. I'd argue he's not worth $20.

He's not a winning player.

How do you propose we force him to sign a contract that allows us to keep him? At $30 million, I think he would have been great and we could unload CJ. However, all indications are he wanted much more.

It was time. Will never forget BI against the Suns. That was some of the best Hornicans hoops of all time.

Have to assume that Griff is gone next year, but if he isn’t at least the Pels have drafted well. Maybe he’ll bring some more of that ping pong ball magic and land us Flagg…

Trading Theis and BI got the Pels under the tax which means an extra $17 million to throw on the money pile. He's doing fine by Benson Empire standards.

Think what most of you don’t understand, if the market forces BI to sign for 30 a year, you think he rather do it in a destination city or a city like Nola? I’m sure he will be happy to sign for us for like 40-50 but if he’s gonna go a lot cheaper might as well do it in a better location.

Not so sure about that. He was very happy in NOLA. Reality may slap him in the face eventually, but I do not think it was simply that he wanted to go somewhere else for less.
