The guy has skill and can help you win some games here and there but will never win a championship on a team that requires him to do 1/4 of the leg work. He’s too damn lazy man. We seriously need to consider trading him to get someone who with a better overall basketball IQ, because what Ingram has in his physical skill, lacks in actual in game IQ.

He’s an iso player. This is the type of player he has always been. He puts in mediocre effort on defense and does little movement without the ball.

Great talent and potential, but he is not a take charge leader. He’s a take charge on offense hero ball player.

Huh… he missed 1/4 of the season or more every year since his rookie season.

Here’s the thing in basketball, there are a bunch of Brandon Ingram type players. They put up great stats, teams are scared to lose them and would love to have them, but they never play on winning teams for a reason. He’s not going anywhere, because the pelicans will be scared that they can’t do better, so it is what it is.

We are 97-114 with our game winner Brandon Ingram…
Those are the games he did play in… not the 30% he missed

Agreed, he only played 51 games last year and less this year. And the amount of time he missed with a toe injury this year was not very popular with the organization or his teammates and caused some problems.

I’m kinda ready to move on. But the worst part is we never saw if him and Zion can even play together.

BI has played significantly more games than Zion. Zion is good for 20 games a season. At this point, I would trade him for same assets because in the next few years, he likely won’t be worth anything

BI, Jonas, and a 1st for Bridges and Claxton would be ideal but would probably take much more than that.

Your mark for a players durability is playing more than Zion? BI missed 10 days after getting slapped in the face. 2 months for a toe injury. He’s not a durable player.

More durable than fat sac that this fan base is obsessed with keeping. He’s useless on the bench. Crazy BI is playing when he’s needed

The problem is Ingram has showed this season when he does play he’s not good enough to lead us to even a .500 record. Zion at least wins when he plays

Ingram is a great #2. Zion is a terrible #1. Trade Zion and get your leader.

I’d rather take my chances on the miracle that Zion can stay healthy and deal Ingram

You can trade Ingram and probably get some good returns. Nothing will change because Zion will just be watching them play from the bench while dodging all the blame

Zion had this awful team at 1st place in the west. Do you want to try to build a contender, or just whine on the internet?
