We seem to be deep at the SG and I only see Ingram and Miller as true SFs, therefore, do you see a scenario where we play 3 guards and let Ball defend the other teams SF? If our guards are as good as we think, this will allow us to have our best players on the court when Ingram rests, and Ball is 6’6 and a very good rebounding guard and can probably handle on D, some of the SFs we’ll be seeing.

Don't forget Jrue. He's long, strong, our best defender and the player we usually choose to guard Kevin Durant. I think we'll see a lot of Lonzo/Jrue/Redick 3 guard lineups.

i think we're gonna see a good mix of 3 guard line ups with ingram/zion being the 4/5.

any combination of:
Ball or Jrue with 2 of Moore, Redick, and Hart

Yeah, Jrue is probably the best guy to guard Kawhi when we play the Clippers. Jrue is still, I think, a better defender than Ball, even on taller players.

Both great defenders. Jrue is better IMO, but the only thing that hurts him when he guards guys 6’8 and up is obviously his height. So I’d probably rather Lonzo guard the Small forwards if they are that height or up. The thing about using Jrue against a guy that height is even if he plays him great on defense but gives up that much height than he will get beat on plays still no matter how great the defense is. So in those cases I’d rather not waste jrues defensive prowess and use him on a guard that he can shut down.

I think Hart will be our backup 3 in alot of situations as well. Probably over Miller.

And Jrue gave Kwahi hell in the 1st matchup last season when we were still competing and before AD brought the chaos
