Agree. Plus your own 2020 pick should be pretty good and would like have 3 firsts in 2021 (our own, Mavs, and Knicks)

Would be the start of something special

If the Knicks win the lottery and we land the 4th I think the Knicks are the best option by far. At that point do you continue to roll with EP or Frank? What other players are you looking to obtain/keep to fill out the roster?

Hayward talent must still be lacking after the injury?

he lacks

The eye. As one who a couple of times was fabulous and then lost it I can say definitively he does not know if its going in.
He's probably going to find it in the off season. His whole body needs to come up a notch in fitness. Maybe he will.
I say probably.
When I was fit and in.practice I expected to make every shot.
He doesn't.

I think DSJ will be in trade so that might eliminate the Elf spot on team

This is true. When conditioning and fitness is lacking confidence usually lacks also. At least it did for me.

At that point, it really doesn't matter. You are developing your core and guys like Elf, Frank, and even DSJ are unlikely to be on your team 5 years down the line when you are competing for titles.

I would just be setting up my main pieces for success and that would mean getting low usage, do the small things guys. Keeping my contracts short and staying flexible, waiting to strike when the time is right

You’d suspect next season would leas to another high lottery pick? Do you move in from Jrue?

No, I would keep Jrue to establish a culture and a pecking order. But Jrue and young guys aren't making the playoffs in the West. And that is fine.

10/4. The next few months will be exciting for sure. I hope they don’t screw this up.

If you're assuming next contract in grade, that's a hard F for me man.

He's gonna be paid Dennis Schroder $ but he's not even that.

Rozier is not a point guard
I’d expect the pels to send him on if he’s part of a BOS deal

I don't understand the Knicks rumors or why they make a move for Davis. The focus has been Durant and either Irving or Walker. They can sign them outright, plus keep their top pick and all their young talent.
Are people thinking they are going after all 3? Do they have enough other contracts to make that work?

Durant or Irving are more likely to sign there if they already have Davis.

Otherwise there chances are extremely low considering they are a shitshow of a franchise.

Then he’ll be the next guy demanding a trade. We can get a vet minimum guy to establish culture.

The Knicks have been planning to sign a big FA for a while now and it's yet to happen.

People keep acting like it’s a forgone conclusion they prefer a Davis trade + 1 max FA over signing 2 max FA & keeping their assets to trade for a cheaper 3rd piece. Careful tho you might be labeled a contrarian

AD/KD/Kyrie etc don't give a frick about kids

AD gets them the star they want without having to risk completely missing out

Kyrie probably goes to nyk due them being friends

They are sick of losing and are desperate
