for a PG, Lin is about middle of the road

Delusional. Lin is mediocre at beat. Turnover machine with no assists to show for all of it.

Yea I think so, Lin's contract is middle of the road for a PG, Lin is about middle of the road. Asik is a top 5 rebounder, he has exceded expectations.

Lin isn't worth 8+ mil a year,MAYBE 5-5.5 at best i think yall over paid a decent amount.

Asik is a good center but i wouldn't say he's world beating.

Gordon and Harden are basically the same player. Gordon has just had the misfortune of getting injured and not being able to get into a rhythm. They both play good defense, can shoot the 3, and are excellent at getting to the rim and finishing or drawing contact. Gordon was off tonight but it happens. If Gordon isn't a star player than neither is Harden, plain and simple.

Gordon has never played at the level Harden is playing at this season. Ever. Gordon has never played at the level Harden played at LAST year, and Harden has gotten better this year. Harden last season PER 21+, Gordon never came close to that much less Harden's 23.8 of this year.

Why are you even here?

This was supposed to be just a couple of Pelican fans enjoying beating a middle tier NBA team.

This is no place for you.

I think in terms of "star power" they are pretty close. Harden is a "star" but just barely. He's no Chris Paul, Kobe, lebron, Durant, Melo, Rose etc.

He's a mid level star that NBA fans know, but not much else. His star power will grow with time, but he's not there yet. shite he's not even halfway through his first season as a starter.

He would have better numbers without Harden, they aren't the best combo. Remember Lin had 38 the one game that Harden missed this year.

Gordon had to do everything for the shitty Clippers his first 2 years and his best PER came when they had Blake Griffin to be a #2 option. If Gordon could've played a whole season last year or this year you don't think he could have a 20+ PER?

no, it probably would have gone down if anything. When he came back the season was over most of the teams he played against had already mailed it in for the year.

From a business standpoint, Lin is worth what they are paying him thanks to jersey sales and I'm sure he brings in a solid amount of Asian ticket sales.
