Bill still thinks we get Thibodeau. Zach Lowe is a machine.

-Gushing over AD's PER, Bill puts him in "Lebron, Wilt, MJ class"

-Should be in MVP conversation

-Zach Lowe thinks he's been the best player in the NBA this season and will be so for the majority of the next decade

-AD's only scratched the surface of his potential, particularly on defense... no idea what his ceiling is

-AD is a lock for all-NBA 1st team

-Bill doesn't think we bring Monty back... Thibodeau might be in play

-BS thinks we trade Holiday for "one more something" and build around Tyreke, Ryno, and AD

-We paid a high price for Asik trading away our draft pick

-Holiday and Evans play well together, but it would be a better use of resources to trade Holiday

-Asik picked the wrong year to be a FA, lots of centers available

Very unlikely to happen

I'd say it's been worth it lately,He's played really well Post-ASB.

No because while tyreke has done well he's too wacky to be the main PG/Ballhandler for 82 games. I'd much rather have Jrue make decisions in crunch time.

EG and ryno are likely going to be moved.

And in the same breath he says Asik is likely to get screwed by the number of centers on the market. So we traded for a center that he thinks we can resign at a discount? And this is a bad thing? He never talked one bit about any of the things people here hate Asik for, he just said we paid too high of a price to gain what he then predicts will be an undervalued asset.

Jordan, gasol, and probably even Monroe will set the market. Asik is in the tier 2 of centers this year. If it was any other year, he'd be in the tier 1 group.

The Pels can go over the cap to sign Asik which is the biggest thing.

Monroe is having arguably a career year and is only 24, he will get paid

And with no cap smoothing $15 million is the new $10-$11 million. Throwing a max at Monroe doesn't seem crazy with the cap set to jump 40% or more.

Definitely not. You get what may seem like a slight overpay in next year's cap, then 3 years of absolute bargain.

That said, it will be interesting to see how many guys sign 1 year deals this year.
