They should ask him if the Pels sign Kawie Leonard, or Kyrie Irving, or Kevin Durant will Davis resign. Jimmy Butler is out there too. Just a thought. I want to think big.

Maybe the Pels win the lottery and AD wants to stay to play with Zion. But we won't and he won't. Ship has sailed

You have to ask, he's a top 5 NBA player. If you can leverage our 1st round pick if it hits the lotto into a player that gets him to sign the extension, you do it. But we probably past that point now.

Before LeBron went to Miami he tried really hard to get people to come to Cleveland but nobody came. And this was a team that had been having playoff success unlike the Pels. Nobody is going to come here to save the AD era. The fact that they traded Niko today says the front office knows that it's over.

Top 5 players lead there teams to more than 2 winning seasons in 8 years.

And under no circumstance would he stay. We are past the point of no return.

No, just no.

This trade deadline aside, NO has the reputation of being one of the most backwards-arse teams in the league from an organizational perspective.

None of these guys would walk in with the organization as it is now.

Get parts for AD, renovate the organization, and prove to people you can build a winner and a class organization.

I've thought about this all day and after hearing that Rich Paul admit to Ric Bucher that AD is a nonconfrontational guy and that Paul urged him to ask for a trade and orchastrate this fiasco I won't be surprised to see them shift the narrative now.

I won't be surprised if Paul takes the blame for the trade request and AD says he wants to help the team push for the playoffs and will reconsider his future with the organization at the end of the season. Simply because the competitor in him wants to play and probably doesn't want to get boo'd everytime he runs on the court.

I could be wrong but something about the way the last few days have been handled makes me feel this is a possibility.
