Highest % shot is a dunk so as long as we defend the 3 with a pulse this year we will show progress

Exactly this. People thought our spacing would be bad last season yet we were one of the better shooting teams. We haven't downgraded in shooting much, if at all, so I'm not concerned

I think the rook is going to get more playing time than people think. I think he'll be the starting SG on offense and the PG on defense.

I still think it's 50/50 if we flip Bledsoe for a Wing or another big. I wouldn't mind keeping him, but I think he'll be the 6th man.

Should have added he starts WITH Lonzo, not over him. They will be the starters as the season goes on.

Ball has better off ball defense and size, that's why I think he'll cover the SGs on defense. But I see him still running point on offense.

Probably not at the start of the season, no. But I think he'll be the starter by all star break.

I like it actually. We got eaten alive by bigs last year especially when Zion wasn’t out. We got a defensive upgrade from favors that can protect the paint and get rebounds. Our rebounding was terrible last year.

He needs to beat out NAW first. Players get better and we need to see what improvements he make. Sounds like yall have given up on him already.

I just think Lewis is more talented than NAW and Bledsoe. If it works out how I think they'd both be great bench players. And we still have the sniper to boot.

But I can see a mix and match where if we need more defense, we put in Bledsoe, more uptempo we put in Lewis, etc.

But we can't ignore how horrible NAW shot last year either.

NAW impressed everyone in the summer league last year before flopping during the season.

Not that summer league means a huge amount but I think it means there is potential if he can figure our how to do that against better competition.

Our bench isn’t even bad. I would say top 15.
NAW,Lewis, Hart, Melli, and Hayes.

Glad we got SVG to discipline their game style compared to what Gentry was doing.

Except the problem was, and this looks to continue, is that we got it done in the aggregate but when things didn’t fall perfectly it got ugly real fast. Having to scramble through lineups to plug holes game to game based on who was hot and not, and almost always those compromises were a situation of pick your poison. And there is still the question of how to ideally close games. Our starting lineup isn’t an ideal closing lineup, just like last year, but constantly hoping you pick the right trade offs can be a recipe for losing close games.

Hopefully better coaching can alleviate that somewhat, but I think you’re mostly looking at another season where fans will get frustrated at times with how we go from lights out to struggling game to game. And i don’t really expect to make the playoffs unless injuries hit a few teams

He can shoot 3’s and is faster than Lonzo and a better pick and roll player. I think there is a chance he takes big minutes away from Lonzo. I’m not saying he replaces him as a starter but it may be close.

Gundy will bench Lonzo if he starts shanking step back 3’s. He has no loyalty to Lonzo like Alvin developed.

I’m still thinking that either Zo or Bledsoe will get moved before the season starts

Would like to get a big wing but SVG is set up to put a lot of defensive pressure on point with Zo, Bledsoe and Lewis

Yes, we really need a good SG or put Ingram at SG
