Are the past 10 games a fluke or is the team good?

Over the past 10 games the Pels are 3rd in net rating with a decent schedule and 8-3 in their last 11. We have seen more Boogie and Ad playing together and with more success. Granted a few of those wins were without Boogie but if we ran this exact team back next year what kind of record would you expect?

For the most part we haven't just been winning, but beating the shite out of teams. There have been a few close wins and a few close losses that we could have won in the final 2:00.

This team looks legit to me.

Fully overrated. AD and Cuz don't know how to win blah blah fricking blah

Realness:

This team has legitimately gelled to the point that Solo driving to the hoop doesn't scare the frick out of fans anymore. Getting a guy like Crawford was huge, and once Alvin figured out playing Jrue offball would do wonders for his confidence we really took off.

AD always plays great. Cousins is playing within himself more as each game passes. Cunningham might be playing the best ball of his career. Jrue is clutch more games than not.

This isn't a fluke. We need to add pg and wing help next year (average players really) and this team can win 50-55 games and challenge for a top four spot. Hell with the same team we have now we can do that.

League is fricked y'all.

At the beginning of the season we were trying to get a rhythm going with our off-season acquisitions and finally started to see progress mid-season, only for us to shake up the roster again. I think we add a starter this off-season and probably still see growing pains early next season, but man this time next year I think we can be scary.

As long as 2 of Davis, cousins, and jrue start the season. They won't be in that kind of horrid start.

He is, no doubt. This is the first year of his career that he's been a legitimate 3-point threat, and he's greatly improved his outside shot. Hes shooting something like 38% from outside on the season, and that's huge for this team.

He doesn't have to score a lot, but he shoots well enough from outside that teams have to respect him, and if they don't he can knock down a 3 and make them pay for it.

Realness

If by some act of God we manage to make the playoffs, we'll be the most feared sub-.500 eighth seed ever to make the playoffs.

Nobody wants to play this team right now.

We already got the act of God. Nurkic is hurt. Its no coincidence they started winning when they got him.

Unfortunately, Phx and Minn are basically tanking. But 2 games against Utah and one against the Spurs..... There is a chance Portland goes 2-4 without Nurkic. All Pels have to do is win out..

I really do not see the blazers beating the jazz or the wolves due to Gobert and KAT. Nurkic was the defensive center that Portland needed and has been the reason for the turnaround. I really think our Pels have a shot to make the last game of the season against them a play-in game.

I would consider the act of God Pels winning out. Unless Nurkic committed some unspeakable sin we don't know of and God decided to smite him, I wouldn't credit God with injuring him.

People worry about the Spurs resting starters, but if there's a chance for us to catch Portland then it's in the Spurs interest to help us and give Golden State all they can handle in round 1.

I am confident that if we can bring in some good spacers this team will be really good. The Cousins trade was never about this year imo.

They are legit. They have two young All-NBA players that can take over a game and another young former All-Star.

That sounds good in theory, but I wouldn't hold my breath. I doubt Popovich particularly cares about the GS matchup in round 1.

If he thinks some of his guys need rest, he'll rest them. If not, he'll play them.

Portland beating that shitty Houston team really hurt us. They'll have to go on an incredible funk, which may happen but I'm not holding my breath. If the Pels were to make the playoffs this year, it would be due to this team being really good including a win over the warriors and at that point, winning out would really give us confidence to fight the warriors round 1.
