I know he would have to get less than what he was supposed to be getting but he has improved and is really our only gaurd coming off the bench. Maybe if we would resign him to a deal that would give him more money towards the back end when the salary cap increases but I guess it all depends on how bad he wants to be in N.O. What do you guys think about it?

I'd sign him for the minimum and not a penny more

I see the hate for rivers is strong. I honestly believe he has improved somewhat from the beginning of the year but he defiantly wasn't worth the 3 mil he was going to be due

I'd like to have him back. If you can't see that he has improved his game this season you are blind.

First game I've been to this season, but he's looking pretty good to me tonight.

He's played really well lately for the most part and is shooting a stupid % from the line, so now the knock is his jump shot. I don't know why people wouldn't want recent AR on their team.

Eta: to answer your question Id say 25/75 I think he likes it here, but he may opt for a change of scenery with Jrue, Reke, and Gordon ahead of him on the depth chart. If he keeps playing competent basketball, he's probably gone.

I like the energy AR brings to this team. He consistently attacks the rim with success and plays good d. I wouldn't mind keeping him around. 5th youngest team with a top 3 one of a kind talent. Keep the young core and we will be contenders.

5 out the last 8 games AR has scored in double figures.

He has absolutely improved each year he's been here. That being said, it hasn't taken very much to improve on his past seasons.

4th guards are as plentiful as 4th bigs in the league. I think the real question is will we have the cap space or exception to pay more than minimum. We may see a situation like with Morrow where we lose a bench guy to make room for a starter.

I can think of 40 backups as good or better than Rivers
