This is your opportunity to hop aboard brothers. We have our very own Dame-LMA combo in Nola coming soon.

Sorry but Dunn will be gone. He's the perfect fit for Tom Thibs' T Wolves, I mean perfect. Long lanky athletic guard who happens to be a lock down defender. He's my #1 choice outside of the top 2, but he's gonna be gone.

Bender is the one person I could see the Wolves possibly skipping over Dunn for if he falls.

Don't think he falls that far though.

The only teams that might take Dunn are Boston, Phoenix or Minny. I know NBA teams typically go BPA, but neither of those teams' weakest position is PG. Or guard at all really. It's possibly that no guard gets drafted until our pick.

Dunn or Jaylen Brown. That's all I want. Both guys have huge upside and that's what this team needs.

Boston ain't taking Dunn unless they trade Marcus Smart. Thomas, Smart, and Bradley are Bostons primary ball handlers and they are all damn good at it. Boston looks at Bender but passes. IMO Boston is considering Murray and Hield, and will take the younger more athletic Murray. Hard to see the Suns taking Hield over Dunn and Bender. I really think Buddy Hield will be a Pelican next month.

Dunn needs to the ball in his hands to be most effective, whereas I believe that Holiday can play off the ball. That's why I love the fit. Both of those guys together in the backcourt would be solid. Dunn can also learn from Jrue.

And if it doesn't work, Jrue's contract expires soon, so we move on from Jrue and let Dunn drive the ship (or tank).

On the other hand, if Demps believes that Holiday is our PG going forward, we're not taking Dunn then. I don't see him being a guy that will play off the ball. We will likely go Hield or draft one of the top forwards in that scenario

Opinions seem all over the board. I think in the short term I'd be skeptically optimistic. It would be a less developed skill wise, more amiable to coaching and more upside Evans esque player.

Kris Dunn has a better overall skill set than Evans. Evans is a stronger guard and more agile at getting to the rim, although struggles to finish and can't shoot at an efficient rate.

Dunn finishes well, can defend at a high level, and has a solid shooting stroke. He's not Hield or Jamal Murray, but he can knock down the outside shot.

Do we want him to do that is the question?

Davis and Jrue seem to have the best relationship of any two players on the team. Davis is much better with Jrue dishing out assists then anyone else. Davis's TS% takes a notable jump with Jrue. More then anyone else.

Do you throw that away, plus what Evans has done, and give the reigns to a rookie?

That's the question. And that's why I wouldn't be surprised that even if Dunn is there, we pass on him.

...In college.

I doubt he comes in finishing at the rim, dishing out passes or even knocking down jumpers better then Evans. It was a quick season but Evans was actually knocking down catch and shoot jumpers at a career best.

Still like the guy, I just have a hard time seeing him fitting into the starting lineup without injuries. Which is why I think this franchise(Demps) may pass on him.

Yeah, it seems like every word that comes out of the Pels camp is that AD and Jrue are the only players we really care about in the long run - that's the core. And the analytics back up that combo. I don't see them taking the ball out of Jrue's hands and handing the reins to a rookie. We need another guy who can score from the outside, especially since we're probably losing Ryno (and I don't see Gordon here long term). I think Buddy is the pick if he's there. If we get him and pick up a good SF in free agency, I'd consider picking up my season tickets again.

Honestly I don't think you can go wrong long term with any of them, but I view Hield as the biggest risk actually. College 3pt bombers typically struggle in the league, at least for the first few years, Not saying he couldn't be a contributor, and bench role player right away.

JJ redick, Adam Morrison, Jimmer, RJ Hunter, dougie buckets, Steph took several years to develop...it's not an easy transition to the league for these guys usually. It usually takes years (that we don't have) for them to develop an all around game so they can stay on the court.

Convince Philly Dunn will be there at 6 and Saric is their man at SF then trade up to 1 and take one of the two SFs.
