You'd think so. Why do I get this feeling we'll still be fighting for the 8 seed the last week of season

Probably because they just lost to the team with the worst record in the NBA. Dont forget losing to the Knicks and Macs. Just those 3 games would put you 5 games over .500.

Boogie deserves to be an all star based soley on his stats, but starting? Don’t think he’s deserving of that just from a Pelicans fan standpoint.

If you never watched Boogie and just looked at his stats then sure.

Has he ever been named the starting center before?

When they were announcing the All Stars, they said the Pels were 2 games over .500. I was just going off of that, but thanks for depressing me more.

Add 3 wins, take away 3 losses, 8 games above 500.

They're going to get drafted to different teams so even in the All star game we can maintain the PTAO.

Was expected. That’s the sad thing about it. They do enough just to pull you back in only to disappoint you. Time is a flat circle.

The Pelicans have the shittiest fans in the league, maybe swamp water has a negative effect on the brain. The team has 2 All Star starters and this is the response they get. No wonder the team plays better on the road, better than playing in a half empty stadium of whiners.

The Pelicans fan-base (if that even exists) don't deserve a playoff appearance. The NBA has done all it can do for this city and to build support for the Pels. Why do you think the All Star game has been in New Orleans multiple times in the past few years? The Nuggets, Blazers, and Clippers have a loyal fan-base whether the team is winning or losing. The few Pelicans fans that attend home games seem amused in heckling Pels players and coaches, than providing a home court advantage. I wonder how the fans of Seattle would react if they had two All Star starters? Not like this popcorn gallery, I'm sure.

You’re going to defend the guys making $20 mil and knock of the fans spending money to support them

You’re from Ohio so you probably don’t realize the fans have been showing out most nights to watch the team this year

Year 6 of AD and we haven’t been competitive in a playoff series. Top 5 talent. Look around the league and tell me which franchise has squandered such an opportunity, one where they can’t even compete with a generational talent. Now add is a supposed top 10 guy in Boogie and the $130 million dollar man Holiday.

Fans expect to beat the Hawks. We expect to see some kind of improvement week to week, an attitude change, more hustle, a burning desire to win, something. We have seen CP3 bolt, we just squandered 4 prime years of Drew Brees before this successful season. We know the lows as NOLA sports fans. We also tasted deep playoff runs with those CP3 teams, we’ve seen the Saints win and we know how damn fun it is. We want that taste back with the Pels

You’re in fricking Ohio. Your internet support means zilch. Try being a STH through this mess

Because Charlotte lost the game and nola was the only place that could host on such short notice?

Your city doesn't support the Pels. You're correct, I live in Ohio, we make champions here. I guess you forget how bad the Cavs were when LeBron went to Miami. I guess you don't recall the Cavs picking #1 in the draft for 3 years when LeBron left. The fans understood the nature of the business and remained loyal.

I've been a fan of the franchise since it's inception. I will remain a fan of the franchise. I'm not a fan of the Pels treatment in New Orleans, they would have been better off staying with the loyal fans of OKC.

Things will work out naturally. The owner doesn't have many years left. If they decide to sell the franchise, I doubt the team stays. By all means, continue to try to derail any momentum or energy the team has. Keep whining and half-filling the stadium, you won't have the Pels for long.

You’re assuming a lot based on criticisms on a message board. Welcome to anonymous internet fandom. It’s not real life and doesnt negatively impact the franchise

You should attend a game in New Orleans and realize how wrong you are
