did you imagine a 4 point PER bump and an 80% FT clip over half a month in that thread? no, so be quiet
hell you've previously pointed out multiple times the historic jump Ingram has made in his FT%...over 2 years. Zion did that in 4 weeks
Difference is buddy I wasn’t aggressively writing down Zion’s ceiling 35 games into his career. In fact I tried to point out he was on historical pace and a lot of the tea leaves pointed in this direction. I wasn’t passionately arguing he can’t be a generational player.
...It’s ok to just say I was wrong you know?

It is so pathetic when you try and play this game of trying to get others to come to your defense and pile on.

Imagine being more concerned about my takes than the actual thread topic of how great Zion is playing.
Get back on topic. You had your melt, you looked foolish, you broke down like you always do, you lied like you always do.
Now get back to the thread topic.

Yeah I get this angle, I’d want to gaslight and forget about my bad takes on a generational player too if I were you.
But like always Im not the one that drags this out.
You could have taken your simple lick and moved on, but per usual you can’t just say: “you know what, I was wrong to write down Zion’s ceiling after 35 games and I’m glad I was wrong because he’s incredible.”

Lol I just pointed this out slow
He had 4 bad FT games to start the year 17-32 (53%).
His next 4 games, he shot 73%.
It didn’t take 4 weeks. It was quite literally took 4 games, and was rather immediate.
He’s been at 75% the rest of the way
It just took him 22 games for that to break 70% because the first 4 were so bad.

i actually still believe that, especially until we see that athleticism again. it's just that he's gone up from Blake Griffin-level, which is a good thing

no tea leaves pointed in this direction. your "small sample" argument does not work with what has happened in the same way you used it to argue that we can't judge him. this jump shows that the sample is irrelevant entirely and your argument was based on a foundation of less substance than mine

So, Zion 6th in the league in PER, go...

So basically you’re still going to keep fricking that chicken to preserve your ego Slow? Interesting move, we’ll see how that works out for you....lol
Except they did.
He, even 35 games in, was in the rare air of Jordan, Shaq, McHale, and Lebron with his early career scoring. Better than Shaq in both points in the paint and efficiency. He had some early struggles with adjusting to his new shooting form(which I tried to point out in early game day threads) and it was likely the contributing factor to his struggles the first few games. After those four games he’s been an above 70% ft shooter.
And in that thread I warned you and others that you were writing down Zion under circumstances due to the season that were likely limiting him offensively, and that if you just stopped to look it was clear SVG was slowly incorporating the stuff we see today into the offense.

SFP you’re a trash poster and you hated on Zion for no legit reason.
Loads of poster came here to say shut the frick Zion’s a beast, and you kept arguing.
You suck. Zion doesnt.
You were wrong. End of story.
GTF!

You both still want to defend this nonsense? Or is time to admit you both made ridiculous proclamations about a guy 35 games into his career under incredibly un-ideal circumstances despite historical all time trends standing in front of you.
Right.
Eat your words and move on.
This dick Shel is trying to jump on the Zion bandwagon on his recent posts.
Like we didnt forget that you shite all over Zion about 30 games into his career. LOL.

I just ask can people stop referencing “Duke Level Zion” as he is not living up to potential.
College Basketball and NBA Basketball are a universe apart.

Right!!!
Dudes on here shite all over Zion, which pissed off alot of posters like myself.
And now that its obvious to all that Zion is a dominating beast theyre trying to back track.
And reassert their shitty takes to justify what they said.
Uh, its the same Zion now as it was 3 weeks ago. Ya’ll were just too stupid to see that Zion’s already a beast in the NBA.
What is hilarious is during the same time the entire world was realizing Zion is a monster, this moronic board was calling him a fat loser who doesnt love basketball, etc. fricking retards.
